Here's a thread for anyone depressed over the price
of gas and food and whatever ... like a lost dog or Roger Clemens hit on your wife.

The reason it seemed Gholston "took plays off"
I was talking to some Buckeye fans, and they said that it seemed he took plays off, because his role in the defense was to CONTAIN. When your told to contain in a defense your not looking to attack the QB, you stay in your area, and wait for the play to come to you.

So they were saying he was told to do that a lot, and that's why he wasn't visible at times. They were saying if he didn't have that contain role he couldv'e had more sacks.

So all you people who say Gholston is lazy STFU!

Here's another one from the same idiot site.

One of the knocks on Gholston is that he doen't show up in every game. He still had 14 sacks last year so if he gets only 8 sacks this season and only "shows up" in the 2 Pats games with 4 sacks apiece I'd be happy.

The rats are the place were good or great players go to die. They remind me of the L.A. Kings. The Kings would have a top five pick year after year. And year after year they're draft pick would flame out, crash and burn. I'm not worried about VG because he went to the Jets. The fin fans are the same every year they start with the 'were going to win the division" Last year they were talking CAM'S going to do this and Cam,s going to do that. And the patsies aren't going to be able to keep up with us. How did that turn out.

And for thoses who have forgoten. Remember when the rats had 4 #1 picks what happened to them two were traded, one has a right arm that like a rag dolls and ones a good player. Oh then theres the MLB that got traded to N.O. I can't remember his name.I hope there are Rats fans reading this thread. You all can keep dreaming.

the Rats would have been way better off trading down and getting Harvey ... Gholston ... whom I hoped we did not want will be a better than average player ... someone you pick in round 2 or 3 but not in the top 10.

As much as I hate them and Parcells, I begrudgingly believe that the Dolphins will be a playoff contender in a few years with larda$$ at the helm.

I do too,but I'm thinking about what I read on FinHeaven last summer.

Gholston was part of a Buckeye defense that got blown out of not one, but two National Championship games in a row. I know, he was too busy "containing" to step up and make plays................................LMFAO............

Don't forget our about token, Doofin' troll that thoroughly entertained everyone here with his witty comebacks:rolleyes:and "crystal-ball like" predictions. I'm sure he'll be crawling out from under his rock sometime in the not-too-distant future.

F.B.N, more often than not, kids from Michigan, Ohio State, Penn State, etc look overmatched by the speed and overall skill packages of the kids from schools like Florida, FSU and LSU. Look no further than how Ohio State got waxed back to back by Florida and LSU..............

The idiocy of this poster, makes me revel in our current success after the abyss we encountered in the early 90's, when the Jet's fans would come to work in their butt ugly green coats and walk around with an air of superiority.. let all of them rotten bastards suffer at least 5 more years of crap performance.. let all them rotten bastards post threads that excuse the Jets and their front office.. keep on believing you rotten bastards you deserve where you are and what you get.
