Good read. If true, he could have easily gave us all the details that BB wrote him but didn't. You gotta respect that.

I like the part where the guy says that once he identified himself as a journalist, he never heard from Belichick again.

He could have easily lied and got more out of him.
I guess that's admirable.

He also kept confidential BB's detailed replies. Great off-season article, way superior to most threads posted here, not that it's easy to find good stuff at this post-draft pre-camp time of year.

Its funny how once BB found out he was a journalist he never heard from him again. Really good read, I agree. But its really got me thinking if its true or not.

It doesn't read like satire. I believe it.

I'm also impressed that he chose not to reveal anything more than surface details about their conversations. Bill will probably appreciate that.

I am going to eBay and type in 1,000,000 different ebay buyer IDs to try and figure out what eBay name BB is going under - See you in about the year 2020

This is a really great article and even though its just a small thing, it tells you a lot about BB as a person off the field. It's too bad more folks outside of NE would realize that this guy's persona as displayed in the media (cold, cranky, etc.) is not who he is as a person.

I think there is away to search past transactions, search on football cards during the appropriate time frame and you might find both the buyer and seller.

Unfortunately on eBay,Past transactions longer than 90 days is removed from the database,Probably the people only allowed to go back farther is ebay personel for maybe keeping track of fraud for a long period of time and investigations from law enforcement regarding a corrupt seller ect :
