Name 1 dumb thing you have heard in this NFL offseason so far.

NOT from this forum as there are so many dumb things posted it would be impossible to pick one

But in the media,On TV and in the newspapers what have you heard as an idea or statement that to you is the dumbest thing said or done so far?

My vote goes for the media that says Derek Anderson should be considered for trade bait for the Browns and let Quinn be #1 and show his stuff - Why would you trade a guy who has proven to be a pretty good looking QB like Anderson for a guy that has been riding the pines and only considered a starting QB by where he was drafted in the 1st round - Thats pure stupidity,If anything I would trade Quinn to a team needing a starting QB & grab a #1 next year, not the other way around.

How about you?

That story about Moss and Culpepper hooking up....this one wins hands down.

I can't remember, did SD trade Brees or did he sign in NO as a free agent? I think he signed, but maybe Cleveland is thinking along those lines, where SD was able to move on to a high pick QB and still be successful.

I think the dumbest thing I've heard is basically every word that's come out of Chad Johnson's mouth.

Yeah that was pretty dumb. People think because Quinn made a couple of good throws AGAINST THE SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS in the last game of the season that Anderson should be trade bait and Quinn should start.

Bills is going to kick Pats butt. Wow.! Holy Cow.!

Bills would win AFC East if we didn't keep Moss.

The Colts are going to win the SB next year.

Brett Favre continually stepping up to the mic. for a soundbite. Would he just fade into bolivia already.....

The Patriots are going to win their first 18 games next year, only to lose the final due to a 83 yard comeback drive led by Eli Manning.

Oh wait that was last season.

And oh wait, nothing sounds dumb anymore after that.

...apparently, according to the OP, only if they don't contain "dumb things"...but, in that case, they couldn't qualify as "the DUMBEST," so I guess you could nominate a thread with "smart things" and see how many people thought it was actually dumb... or maybe you could enter it as a candidate for the "not as smart as other stuff" prize...:bricks:

Nope, we can make it sound even dumber:

EDIT: "...only to lose the final due to a 83 yard comeback drive led by Eli Manning during which Asante muffed an INT and Eli escaped a certain sack to throw up a Hail Mary Pass that some guy no one ever heard of caught on his helmet."

But no...no...I'm over it...really I am...I'm all better now...it doesn't bother me any more...the nice doctors say they're going to remove the straight jacket in time for the season opener...

...and I know for sure that if I can just replay the game on DVR that Eli will be sacked and Rodney will jar the ball loose and Asante will make the pick and Brady will connect on a 90 yard pass-and-run to Moss to win the game with no time on the clock...yes, it's all fine...no problem...

...you say it's time for my medication now...ok...i like the medicine...i have that nice dream over and over again...there's Randy dancing in the end zone...here comes Tommy flying into his arms...
