...in your future!

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but does anybody else see the zero WR day as a positive sign for Chad?

Patchick, stop trying to jinx players I like...

Chad Jackson for President!:rocker:

I've been a Chad Jackson homer for quite some time. I think the negative hoopla around him is a whole lot of jibber-jabber. I very much look forward to watching him progress this season...

Ooh, sorry! Sometimes I forget I have that power. :)

(But hey, BB had some nice words today about my longtime pet Pierre Woods. Maybe all is not lost....)

I'm rooting for the kid for obvious reasons, but he's gotta get his poop in a bunch pretty quickly.

All the talent in the world. I just hope things finally start clicking for him. He's got good speed, he goes over the middle, he can catch... there's no Earthly reason why he shouldn't be at least a decent NFL receiver.

Signs are everywhere...

No TE and had plenty of opportunities for Kyle Brady types.
No OG, so Neal's injury situation must check out OK.
No C...which is not surprising since Indy drafted all of them.
No DL, so is Wilfork signing looking up?
No safety, so the current crew (Meriweather included) is enough.
No RB, so Maroney's workload, Morris' injury and Faulk's recreational habits aren't cause for concern.

No NT was the biggest surprise to me.

I can see them not liking the NTs. But how can you pass up guys like Smith and Charles to get a pick from SD next year?? Our pick is 69 in a deep draft, which is likely going to be better than say 59 in next years(SD isnt gonna suck!)...just to get a 5th who wont make the team anyways?? Arent we tired of our PS guys being plucked yet?
And for CJ, this is SCARY. No one behind him to push him for a job? Sounds like he comes in fat and lazy again....like the first time, and blows out a hammy!! Man, you gotta know what buttons to push on players and he is a guy that NEEDS to be pushed to be competitive. He is NOT Patriots material, I dont know what BB sees in him. That said, if he gets it together(I hope he does for all of us)he should be able to become a FORCE in this league...but its all up to him.

I dont really like Jackson at this point, but being fat was never one of his issues

Previous message finally got me to start using my ignore list.

Ignore Ignore Ignore.

Chad Jackson should be taking over for Stallworth. BB/Pioli realized C-Jax was going to take longer than two years, so they brought in a guy (Stallworth, then Gaffney) to bridge the gap. With Donte gone, C-Jax can take his spot on the team.

Cross fingers for his health.

Nope its a smokescreen to when we sign Chad Johnson so that even teammates can get mixed up between the two and thier similar names,At least by name not performance where it obviously separates at that point.

I saw the draft as a sign that BB thought the back 7 was getting old and is a bit slow. And that upgrading the best offense in the league wasn't reallly a concern. I don't think it said anything about any one offensive player in particular.

I see him riding the stationary bike, recouping from an undisclosed injury.

There's no way he dislodges my man Jabbar Abdul Jaffney for the third receiver.

If Welker gets banged up--and I kept expecting him to act like that Montreal Canadian that Stan Jonathan beat up--then Chad better learn to stand tall and take it like a man.

who? :bricks: :p

I do see Chad Johnson being moved, but not here.

My guess Philly!

Well technically, Slater is a wide receiver. So I don't think Chad should feel too safe. In fact regardless of who we drafted, Chad has something to prove this year. The Pats did not sign a vet receiver ahead of him though, so it looks like they want to give him the chance to develop as the receiver opposite Randy Moss. All I can say is, it's about time to get a move on Chad!

They drafted Desean Jackson. They don't have any need for Chad.
