Jeremy Green just said on the Mike Felger show that the guy the Patriots hope is there at #7 is Darren McFadden. I personally think Green is an idiot and doesn't know what he is talking about, but I'm a big DMC fan. But, I don't believe the Patriots would want him.

What is he basing it on, though? If it's "analysis" then it's garbage. If it's a reliable source, it's garbage that is slightly more interesting.

I hate the way the draft is reported, but I love the draft. Jeez.

Honestly I don't think Green is basing this on anything. The guy is an idiot. He only got a job in the Front Office because of his dad. The guy has no idea about anything. I just put it up there cause I'm a DMC guy, but trust me McFadden won't be there anyways.

If McFadden is drafted then Maroney is obviously a dissapointment of the team and becomes near certain trade bait - There is no other way to look at it if McFadden goes here at #7 - There will be NO McFadden and Maroney on this team together - NO WAY

On the .0179% chance he's right, it's because they've got a trade lined up. The Patriots can't possibly have McFadden at #7 as the best value available.

That leaves 99.9821% chance that Green making sh!t up as he goes.

Good Lord. If I didn't know better, I'd swear this guy has some sort of neurological condition that makes his arm move whenever he's talking. It wouldn't surprise me if he was literally unaware that he's doing that.

[On a side note--watching this reminds me of a joke by Elaine Boosler, I think, about how there's a reflex that causes women's legs to kick up and back when they kiss.]
