If I hear the name Ryan Clady to the Patriots I will be sick. This is the one guy I don't want at all. I'd rather have Branden Albert.

Why? The low wonderlik? B/c outside of that, a lot of scouting reports have this guy as having a higher ceiling and upside than Jake Long.

Clady at 7 will ruin my weekend, if I hear that name called at 7 for the Pats, I will smash my fist through the widescreen. If you're going to reach for an O-Lineman at 7, grab the surer guy in Albert. Another thing, there is no way BB would take Clady with Ellis still on the board.

This Albert love is getting ridicolous, and I've been on his bandwagon for months. But how is he the surer thing?! He's a GUARD who is going to convert to tackle. He gave up 5 sacks, which is not nearly as good as the production of Clady or even Chris Williams. Clady is projected as the most talented left tackle in the draft. The Dolphins just spent their first pick and 50 mill on Jake Long, and Clady has a higher upside.

If the Pats draft him at 7, I'd be OK with that. I'd sure as hell be more OK with that than drafting any corner, let alone a corner whose stock has risen b/c of one week in his entire college career and the last part of his hyphenated name.

I'm sorry, but Jake Long to the Dolphins at number 1 just does not make sense. :D

I don't see Oakland taking McFadden like everyone else, but it would be a no brainer for Altanta to take that trade.

I said, if the Pats were to go OLine, take Albert. I didn't say that I would take Albert, if we stick at 7 and Ellis is on the board, he's the pick. If we deal down into the 9-15 range, then CB or Mayo would be my pick and the corner would be DRC/McKelvin (in that order) or Mayo.

The Jets could also be eyeing Long & then the Raiders would take either McFadden or Gholston.

Either way under this scenario I find it hard for the Pats to trade down & Clady is BPA IMO.

While I don't want R. Clady, Just my opinion. This looks about right I think you've done a good job here, nice work.....

In an effort to mostly just bump my own mock back to page 1 lol I would also like to add that this is probably one of the hardest drafts to predict in recent memory. And I've been following them pretty closely for the past decade.
