Will be trade one or more of our picks for a veteran? There are several veterans being shopped to other teams and players who want to be traded. This is the time for trades. A draft pick can potentially help a team the team this year who loses the player.

Which veterans are you interested in?

While I seriously hope we do not, we need to remember that BB loves veterans.

Depends on the Vet... situations like Moss/Welker, yes. Situations like Jared Allen/Chad Johnson, not so much.

Shepherd for one

There may be vets available that we don't know about at vatious positions.
I could see a trade for him and would be pleased, but after Pioli's offseason CB gluttony I'd say Shepherd would attract stronger interest from another club.

Are Webster and Sanders going to make the team? It seems unlikely. Tank was a fine addition as the 4th safety.

We needed bodies to compete. Shepherd, Hobbs and Bryant would be a fine threesome. If we don't trade for Shepherd, I think that we need two corners by #69 to compete for reps behind and with Hobbs and Bryant. I don't see how we can do better than Shepherd with our second or 1st third (depending on his contract).

Even with Shepherd, we would have corner spot open with Webster, Sanders, Richardon, and Spann competing for the final spot.

James Sanders not making this team?? Wow I'll wait to the hawks come out and claim he is our FUTURE Safety.. I for one believe he is a JAG..

So I agree with u..

I wouldn't be surprised to see Webster make the roster. I'd still target at least two CBs and one Safety in this draft.

I believe he's discussing Lewis Sanders.
