I went to New England last week and I loved their facility and their stadium. They are doing a lot of construction around it. They are building a mall and a hospital right there. If I get a chance to play there I will never have to leave. They said much of the building they are doing will keep all the noise in the stadium so game days will be especially loud. They are already great at home, that will just give them another advantage.

I really enjoyed meeting Coach Belichick. He told me about their team and their system and what they would expect of me. They are always looking for playmakers and that's what I am. I sat down with most of the offensive coaching staff and watched film. They also introduced me to Kevin Faulk. He's impressive, the way he studies, how he trains and how he carries himself. If I can duplicate the way he prepares I'll be doing just fine.

Glad to hear the thing about keeping the noise in the stadium though I wonder how the mall is going to do that. Must be where all the extra $$ for tickets is going.

On an semi-unrelated note... after extensive research I have made my choice for who the Pats will and won't pick at #7 overall... link below in my signature...

$$ CHA-CHING $$

Draft him. Done deal he wants to play here and will beast.

Tempting but I still think we need inside linebacker more.
Besides I like Maroney.

McFadden, LMoney, Faulk...that is pretty darn sick. We could put Maroney back on kickoffs too he was pretty bada55 back there when he was doing it.

Jets are very high on him it seems though, having him visit three times this month... so I wouldn't get my hopes up yet all you McFadden believers.

Sounds like a no lose situation for the Patriots. Jets take Mcfadden, Defensive player falls into our laps(Ellis, Dorsey, GHOLSTON(yes please),Long(unlikely)). Jet take Defensive Player, Mcfadden falls into our laps!! I can't wait for April 26.

After all that the Jests will probably trade out of the spot! lol

maybe the Pats can float some insane rumor about him ala Miami and Marino. We know Mangenitalwarts is a boob so he will definitely fall for "reports are coming in that Mcfadden eats babies."

Blah we probably need to go defense anyways but my god if McFadden was added to the Pats offense....defenses would just be like, "screw it, let them score". Unstoppable passing and rushing attack.

But its not gonna happen.

LOL Hadn't seen this one yet:D

McFadden was a great player in college and even though Maroney was drafted a few years earlier you can never have enough top of the line talent at any position except maybe QB. McFadden was a little tall but man could he run for daylight.

They never got the chance but having a feature back like McFadden may be what is necessary to stop the Patriots from passing the ball 50+ times a game. It would also make them a better playoff team and better in play action (if that is possible).

There's a few LOLs in this thread, thanks for bumping.

I'm not jumping ship, we will still win 10-11 games but have some concerns for the last few years. Same problems. I'm not a big fan of the pat's drafts and the defense is bad.
Did we not recently draft 2 backs. To quote leigh ann tuohy from blind side "just run the dang ball bill". A little mixture would be great. Oh yeah we did also draft a big tackle. Is shane vereen injured, in the doghouse, not ready or all of the above. At least try to make him kevin faulk. Every year i wish for a defensive (physical) draft from the pats and get disapointed. The d so far is softer then last year and for some reason mccourty has gone south. Without hernandez, brady does not seem to have an alternative reciever besides welker and gronk. Give him some help or hand off occasionally.
Ridley looked okay - (small workload and shoulder pads), lets see what he can do. Is ocho at the end of the line. My concern is he does not seem to get consistent separation, drops happen. With the amount of picks in recent draft, the pats should have much better depth and a more physical team. I would love a do-over on this years draft. I still say the saints took our draft. It's dificult to get used to pass pass pass but everybodies doing it and not stopping it on d.
I still think buffalo comes back to the pack very soon.

I also think antonio (warren) cromartie would make a great wide receiver or offensive player. Fumbles would have to be addressed.

The pats are a well coached, top tier team with a great qb but mediocore talent elsewhere.
