Out of towners especially, which hotel is your favorite to stay at that is near the stadium? Any suggestions appreciated, booking a trip this week.

For my last trip, I stayed at America's Best Value Inn. Not much in the way of in room amenities go, but its a short walk to the stadium and they've got a bar too. I'd stay there again simply due to the fact it's within walking distance to the stadium.

I think if you're looking for nice accomodations, you best get out of Foxboro. What Foxboro buys you is pure convenience.

I liked the Marriott.

I liked the Marriott.

I've used Priceline and gotten the Hilton in Dedham for about $65-70 per night multiple times. It's right off of Route 1 and while it's not as convenient as being in Foxboro, it's close enough....

I think for easiest convinece.. Stay off of 495 Milford/Franklin there are 7 hotels in that area, its nice area lots of restaurants/bars in these area's ..

Milford
Courtyard by Marriot
Fairfield inn
Comfort inn
Holiday Inn express
La Quinta Inn
Shearaton

Franklin
Hampton
Residence
Hawthorn Suites..

Theres a Courtyard Marriot on Foxborough BLVD and its right next to a nice little restaurant and isn't that far from the stadium.

I work with marriott, and I was told they were planning to build a new residence inn at patriots place. I tried to look it up, but didnt see anything on marriott.com, so im not sure if they're still planning that. I did find this on patriotsplace.com, and this might be the future residence inn, or something else, but it sounds good.

Yeah, but convenience and avoiding gameday traffic is what i'd want if i'm making the schlep from NYC. As long as the hotel is decent and I can walk to a restaurant and the stadium, that's all i'd want. I'd plan to get in Saturday night for a 1PM start. Would probably spend Saturday night in Boston (I know the hotels there very well) and check in very early in the day for a 4PM or Night game. Any suggestions?

You can have them call a cab. Then the cab service usually meet them at North street which is near the stadium to go home. Its not that expensive either IMO. The cab will drop you off somewhere, but sometimes it could be a ways away but walkable. Then they pick you up near North street, the drive will inform you. Then you just jump in a cab and tell them the Courtyard Marriot and bam, your home. Good luck!

Do as I did! Stay in Boston, enjoy the weekend and take the train to the game!!

Priceline has their rates at $60/night, sounds like a dive kind of..

I am gonna go with Courtyard Mariot... close to Patriot Place it says, restaurant next door some poster said, plus only 3 miles from stadium.

This information is useful to me as well since I'm going to try to make the Week 3 Dolphins game (might as well get up there for a home game before it gets too cold... hey, I'm from Florida so give me a break).

This is a good thread because thanks to miguel my pregnant wife and I are going to make the trip up to see the stadium and a preseason game and we'd like to stay overnight to make the whole thing easier on her.

OK Courtyard Mariot will be $185 per night, so for 2 days around $400 not bad. I figured they'd jack up the price a little on a game weekend, since they know more people are coming in.

Looks pretty nice.

There will be a Renaissance (Marriott) at Patriots Place which is due to open in spring of 2009. It's suppose to be a very nice hotel with a spa and everything so I'm sure it will cost alot!
