Fgssand asked me to mention that he has received favorable words from Mike Reiss on the first 3 fact sheets drafted for Fans for Responsible and Accurate Media (FRAMe). Reiss also suggested that Fgssand send the three fact sheets to Boston Sports Media, which he has done...

So, to all who have helped thus far, either contributing links, writing, or reading over the materials, a great big thank you.

A spot is VERY open for someone with enough web skills to put these up on an HTML page - for future distribution it will be VERY handy to have these available all on one place... as in...

"In response to your recent story "Bill Belichick Eats Babies and ****s iguanas," we would like you to have a look at www.frame.com (or whatever name we get.) Your story was interesting in its speculative qualilty, and sometimes factually accurate as well. We welcome your use of FRAMe's resources in researching any follow-up..."

And of course, when new fact sheets go up on the web site, we could do a general distribution to those media contacts we have already bothered.

Anyway: Thanks very much for the kind words, guys... it was very much a case of just pulling together a good part of what has been linked to here on PatsFans.

Everybody who has sent me an e-mail address now has their copies, and the store is still open. Hopefully we don't disappoint

Wow, I am honored to be called out since those leading this effort had said time and time again to ignore me. Am I clearly in somebody's head? I think so.

Since I have been informally invited to participate, my parting shot for this effort- if you are indeed advocating "responsible and accurate" media, then you can't just have it for your team alone. You have to advocate it for all teams, coaches, players (including the Colts, Yankees, Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, etc.) or your effort is just going to come off as a bunch of pissed-off fans that can't stand criticism (which is what I have thought all along).

So think about that as you all go on your crusade to get the media to like us again

Now I'll sit back and watch this evolve into a thread discussing me, my posts or ignoring me and my posts. It always happens.

Thanks PatsFanInVa, but you & fgssand deserve the credit. Honestly, all I did was make a post that said, "Isn't there something we can do to make the media look at the truth behind cheating in the NFL?"

And you & fggsand took that and translated into this wonderful effort. I wish I could have done more, but my job hasn't allowed me much time. Thanks to you both and the others who dug up the facts. You are the epitomy of a Patriots Fan.
