Hey now! Moose Tracks ice cream is delicious. Don't h8.

To save people the time, and reduce the number of hits he gets, he mentions that Jackson looks more buff than before; he quotes someone from the thread about #17 who said, "He heard we need linebackers."

Still not reading it. But that means he reads here? So how weird must that be, to see how many people hate you...

Here you go ladies. Sorry to ruin your little boycott.

Chad Jackson gives back
Posted by John Tomase at 12:27 pm

Third-year Patriots wide receiver Chad Jackson has taken some heat for not yet living up to his potential as a second-round pick, but he deserves credit for the foundation he has created to help kids in his home state of Alabama.

ABC 33/40 in Birmingham has the video here from over the weekend. It shows Jackson returning to Hoover High School, his alma mater, where he is greeted as a returning hero.

A couple of observations:

1. Jackson is huge. Not in a fat kind of way by any stretch, but in a musclebound, rippling biceps kind of way. I cannot take credit for this line, but a poster at Patsfans.com (where the video first was linked) noted, “He heard we need linebackers.”

2. Jackson sounds more mature. It’s easy to forget that he came to the Pats at the ripe old age of 21 and still had some growing up to do. For whatever it’s worth, in this interview anyway, he sounds like he’s on the right path.

Yeah, I say we wreck on him even more now. I'm going to go extra distance to put a Tomasse diss in every one of my posts.

Hopefully "Chad Jackson Gives Back" isn't a euphemism!

But on the Tomasse issue it might be interesting to learn if and when the Herald gets sued (and I'm not expecting that for various reasons - not the least of which is that I don't think the Patriots have any interest in letting lawyers vet the veracity of the Herald/Walsh report) how willing a particpant Tomase was in that story.

No doubt he spoke with his "source" - but its the editor and publisher's call on whether to run an unsubstantiated story at such a critical juncture.

I've even seen situations where reporters as forced to do stories they don't want to do. It's not that uncommon.

So I have to admit I don't know how much responsibility Tomasse bears on that even though his name was the one on the article.

None of that matters when you're up against Boston sports fans. We're notoriously vicious.

thanks for posting the big 'scoop' . My boycott is firmly in tact. I haven't visited the herald web site for anything since the friday before SB, and don't plan to ever again.

It's like boycotting french products...does it make a difference to anyone but myself? ofcourse not, but point is the same

So you boycott French Fries?

well of course he reads here. Look at him.

Do you think he spends his spare time being active and working out?

The whole newspaper was in on it. So don't read any part of it. That doesn't absolve Tomase, it just implicates everyone else in the building too. I'm sure prior to posting that trash, he sought the advice of Felger who probably gave him a speech about what it means to be a journalist. That must have been a hoot. The sooner they're all out of work the better. And I hope their newspaper goes out of business. I will carry this vendetta to the grave.

Who is TomASSe. Only person I knew by that name DIED several months ago. I don't ever even think of him any more.

My guess is that BadMoFo is Tomasse. Just a guess.

Yes, I am Thomase. Patriots cheated. It's on tape. Thank you for reading my column.

That said, it is very possible that he has an account on here. As Keegs said, he doesn't exactly look like he spends his spare time working out (unless you count cheeseburger curls as a workout).

Which tape are you talking about? The one Matt Walsh claims to have?
