Is that what they're reporting on scout.com, or somewhere else?

I watched the video you linked, and Jon Scott only talked about Gholston, McKelvin, and Jenkins.

I would love to draft Talib.... in the 3rd round.

Nevermind, it was Shefter on NFL Network. that info wasn't in the video you linked though...

Edit: McKelvin's scheduled visit has been known for some time (as was Rivers'), but I don't think the visits for Dorsey, DRC, or Talib were previously reported, right?

It's weird, I linked to the video with "NFLTA: Patriots looking LB?" and for whatever reason that weird guy showed up. Just click on the Rod Woodson image below.

my binky!!!

Funny how they are bringing in Talib i wouldnt even draft him without the cheeba issues, not at 7 anyways.

isnt McFadden visiting this thursday?

Seems like half the first round prospects are visiting, so I wouldn't take to much out of it, and the Patriots likely just want to get a better feel of him, before setting their board.

Edit: McFadden was scheduled to visit on either the 10th or the 11th.

Gholston was there yesterday per Reiss' blog.

I'd love it if we got Talib in the 2nd.

I don't see how he could drop to the 3rd but some corner last year who had high stock and then went downhill before the draft, fell to the 3rd... (so i guess it is possible)

anybody know his name?

Marcus McCauley, Fresno State.

I don't like the idea of drafting someone at #7 overall who previously was considered a 2nd round prospect.

I do like the idea of Talib falling to #62 though.

I would much rather pick up a first round prospect who fell to the 2nd than vice versa.

What about Eric Wright from UNLV? Didn't he fall down too?
yeah you're right. i think the browns got him in the 3rd but I think he had a much worse reputation than Talib.

Wright had been accused of far worse, but the deal with Talib is apparently a consistent history of misbehavior which keeps getting him into trouble but he never learns from. That's exactly the kind of guy who'll keep coaches up nights.

Anybody who gets into too much trouble playing football (Pacman Jones, Chris Henry, etc.) is either Too Stupid to play the game or don't really care that much about football. There is no other explanation imo

"You're either too dumb or you were in on it. Either way you're out!"

Casino - Directed by Martin Scorsese - Starring Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci

The Pats will tell him, "thanks for coming out but were not going to draft you with the 7th overall selection. Have a nice day".
