BB and TB both have said on multiple occasions that the sey monster is the best in the business.
I have to take their word for it.
I remember he played with great power and passion.
Is a heck of a athlete is set for life now has his rings, his family is comfortable.
This is a man who's father has committed suicide, he has battled thru numerous injuries.
Was the victim of a mangina called defense 3 years back, and the victim of dirty play from cut blocking o lineman, and I believe rushed back to early 2 years ago.
This is a show me year for Seymour.
I believe if he plays anywhere near mediocre he will be asked to restructure or be cut traded next offseason.
Would not be totally shocked to see a Ellis, Dorsey or Laws drafted some point this year.
If that would come to fruition it spells nothing but bad for number 93.
I just hope his madden rating doesn't decline and i'm only half kidding.
Having more athletic Linebackers and a more agressive scheme could give him some more chances to make a impact rushing as opposed to just filling a gap though he did pretty well in that role near the end of the season.
I for one am looking foward to seeing Seymour be comeback player of the year!
Very easy. He's 6'6" and over 300 lbs. It would be hard to miss him.
My thing with Seymour is that I never saw him as a 3-4 DL. Sure ... he had great impact in the 3-4 but mostly because we play 2-gap. If we played the 4-3 I would value what he brings to the team much higher. IMO he is just way too slow to play DE in our 3-4. I don't see him playing here beyond his contract and perhaps not even the last year of his contract.
Only RayClay would be clever enough to be the first to say that,I was expecting it soon and Ray is the winner,It was inevitable
WOW! - Now thats what I call an opinion! - Sounds like some flaming coming soon from the Seymour ball washers.
Seriously, let's give the guy a chance to recover from his knee injury. He played in 2006 with at least four known serious injuries and we should applaud him for that effort.

Personally I agree with about half of that but I don't think Seymour is slow but just appears to me as lackluster at times when appearing to try and get to the QB or the runner.
These options suck: he has been slowed by injuries and will be back, but not better than ever. He'll be a good player, but not at his old level.
Personally I think if he could slip a little HGH into himself that would help,But we all know its against NFL rules and the law in general - Just Ask #37
If Injuries are the REAL reason he has not been as good as before,IMO there really is no reason that a full healthy Seymour could not be as good as before or even better - I mean he is still pretty young by NFL standards and not like a Bruschi who could be O.K. in 2008 but will never be what he once was because he is simply beyond the years of being at the top of his game, while Seymour is still young and can certainly still be the best DE in the game if he wants to be and is healthy - we will see,I just don't know .
