Has us trading up to 5 with KC to nab Gholston. We give up 69.

1. V.Gholston - olb - OSU
2. P. Lee - cb - auburn
3. J.Carlson -te - NDame...

I can live without Carlson. But, love the first 2 picks. I don't see J.Goff in their projection. I'll take him at 94. Drop Carlson. Wouldnt mind Red Bryant at 94. They have him going at 95.

I can't believe how Red Bryant keeps being ranked so low by everyone. Last year Alan Branch went at the top of the 2nd round. I think Bryant is a lot better prospect then him. Maybe he is being undervalued because he isn't a pass rusher.

I agree 100%. And I think you are exactly correct. They are projecting this guy into a 4-3 and dinging him because of his lack of pass rush.

I see this guy as a 3-4 NT that sucks up 2 OL guys on every running play and he still can't be moved from his spot.

If the Pats took Bryant in the second and Goff in the early third, or vice versa, I would be estatic.

So you think Bryant could be a true back-up/replacement (God forbid) for Wilfork?

I'm hoping to see a trade down with Carolina or Chicago where the Pats use that pick on their top guy on the board. Then with the extra picks they should vault up in round two ahead of San Fran and the Jets and pick up Bryant. I know we still have Vince but NT is critical to the Pats defense. I also like the idea of finding a good Ilb prospect in rounds 2-4.

Link goes to a travel site?

That is too high to be taking Patrick Lee, whom I like.

So you're thinking something along the lines of this?

#7 [and maybe one of the JAG DBs] to CAR for #13 and #44.
#44 and #94 to KC for #35 [Red Bryant] [and maybe a 6th rounder]
