Patchick's post in the draft forums got me thinking, who would you most like on the Patriots, ignore cap ramifications and all that

10. Devin Hester
9. Andre Johnson
8. Ed Reed
7. Derrick Johnson
6. Champ Bailey
5. Antonio Cromartie
4. Demarcus Ware
3. Patrick Willis
2. Bob Sanders
1. Adrian Peterson

p.s. this is all for fun, let's not get into fights about who's better than who and all that

I assume you mean players not already on the roster

Jason taylor
Pacman jones
Rossie Colvin
Adam Vinitari
Peyton Manning as second string qb (come on, thatd be funny)

ya know what? i like or team now.

Ed Reid. BB is always boasting about him as a player and a leader. I'd also like to see Hines Ward as a #2 receiver because he never gives up on a play. Antonio Gates would be an unreal target for Brady in the red zone too...

This is kind of a tweener topic...
Pick players from each position you would like to see ...

rb-m barber,a peterson
qb-p manning
wr-fitzgerald,Holt
T-Thomas, Jones
G-Hutchinson, Davis

NT-Haynesworth
DE-Umeniora(sp?),Taylor
OLB-Ware, Suggs
ILB-Urlacher, Willis
S-Reed, Sanders
CB-Cromartie, Nnamdi
ST-Adam and Hester

Now if you ask me for 1 player....it would have to be P.Manning, addition by subtraction.

5) Jonathan Ogden (if he doesn't retire)
4) Ed Reed
3) Adrian Peterson
2) Champ Bailey
1) Demarcus Ware

Devin Hester- If we can add 10, plenty of room for the best returner in the game

Marion Barber III- because he played at Minnesota and he can't be stopped in the red zone

Jason Peters- best young Left Tackle in the game

Steve Hutchinson- one of the best guards in the game

Mario Williams- size to play in the 3-4

Ed Reed- great ball skills

Champ Bailey- my personal top corner in the game

Patrick Willis- proved he could play inside in a 3-4

DeMarcus Ware- Adalius moves inside on occasion

Adam Vinatieri- could also be Rob Bironas. A team this good can't lose games because of its kicker. Vinatieri has been proven clutch time and time again.

Vinatieri has NOT been clutch since he signed with Indy.

Aha I ee Cromartie is creeping up the lists gradually, I'd put him at No 1,
just seen him a couple of times on TV but thought that he would be a most valued addition.

I'd nominate two stoppers from the Giants: Osi and AD's cousin Justin Tuck. Those two killed us in the SB.

Urlacher
Jason Taylor
Adrian Peterson
Antonio Gates
Hester
Ed Reed
Cromartie
Bailey
Merrimen
Favre (as backup QB)

yes, i believe that cromartie next year will show himself as the best CB in the league, bailey is getting old, and injured

but as a whole, CB is not our greatest need, ILB is
