Re: Denver WR Brandon Marshall finds out McDonalds burger WRAPPER is bad for your hea

i hope the injury has no lingering effects on him...

he is obviously in good moods

but i sure do hope his injured arm fully recovers, he seems like a good guy, and an exceptional rising athlete

Adam Schein was just talking about it on Sirius Radio and thinks this is a BS story as he thinks it is very unlikely that he could have slipped on the wrapper and have his arm destroy his entertainment system and Adam thinks it may have been the result of a drunken situation and since Marshall has a court date involving an alcohol related incident Schein thinks he has a problem with the booze and is covering it up with the McDonalds wrapper excuse.

Some people doubt this report - if you ask me its too bizarre NOT to be true. You can't make something like that up.

Yes you can, it sounds like alot of stupid stories i've heard about a piece of glass "amazingly" being in the way of a fall. I call total BS on this story.

Read my reply above about what Adam Schein thinks of this story - He thinks its crap and a cover up of alcohol abuse and more of a possible drunken rage type episode than an accident falling over a wrapper.

I think Schein has it right on.

Whatever the case, I hope he gets better (physical or mental or both) and keeps playing. He looks great catching balls from Cutler, imagine if he had Brady or Peyton throwing to him.

it does sound sketchy, but if it's alcohol related i hope it's his wake up call.

Bad enough they're killing you at the back end. Hardening your arteries. Now, they can ruin your career too. Something must be done to stop. Paging...Senator Spector...

All I can say is I've heard even more interesting, ahem, misadventures involving light bulbs  , so I wouldn't be surprised either way.

Re: Denver WR Brandon Marshall finds out McDonalds burger WRAPPER is bad for your hea

Story has no chance to hold up. First, he's a ******* slob if he left that on his floor, let alone by his television. Second, how would you leave a completely flat, wide open mcdonalds wrapper on the floor and NOT see it, let alone fall on it? I assume it was open, because I know there's no way a balled up burger wrapper would make ME fall, I doubt an NFL WR would.

Now compare that story to this. He's drunk, he gets very mad and throws something or hits it. Or, even more likely, drunk as a skunk he comes stumbling by, busting his ass decent. I've been drunk before, I assume most of us here have. I know I could easily do something that stupid. I agree, talk about a weak cover up.

Brian Griese used to trip over his dog on the stairs every few weeks.

Must be that mile high air.

Just when you thought the nutrition content in McDonalds food was dangerous to your health,Broncos WR Brandon Marshall has another point of view,The wrapper is dangerous too!

After seeing this article maybe we should sign Ronald McDonald at Linebacker! ;)

His hair wouldn't fit under the helmet. But if we could, we could surround him with earlier teammates Grimace, McCheese, and Hamburgler.

If nothing else BB could stomp around grumbling "tackle somebody. You guys are playing like clowns and meatheads."

Yeah my favorite part of those stories was how Shanahan was concerned about how he wasn't mobile enough to evade a big time pass rush... he couldn't evade his damn dog, Shanny, tell us something we didn't know!
