Bledsoe seems to be transitioning well to retirement

I couldn't care less about Drew, one way or the other.

“As you can see from this first picture I am maintaining my strict workout regimen,” he wrote them. “You can see here I am alternating some 12-ounce curls with some toe swirls. I generally do these until the bottle gets too light to offer enough resistance then I start over with a fresh one.”

That is really funny in a Drew Bledsoe, dry humor kinda way!

Good for Drew. I am glad he's happy after football.

Thanks for posting. I wonder from time to time what Drew's been up to. Now we know.

Once again the Drew Bledsoe apologists come out of the woodwork. I'm wondering what you all will say when his wines don't win the gold medal and his coffee blends peak at 2nd Best in Montana. He's a 2nd-tier beverage brewer and always will be!

I'll never understand how some people on here can be so negative about Drew Bledsoe.

Can anyone explain it to me? it completely baffles me.

I wish him the best...he helped save the franchise in the 90s..in bad times..and was one of the best QBs they have had..so?? Why all the negativity..he came close..at LEAST he was there in the SB...much better than some of the other teams around..

what do you mean apoligists. the guy gave us 8 years of high quality play. He is a just miss hall famer, and he did that in the uniform of the team we all enjoy watching. That is enough for people on this board to follow up on some of the things he is doing. I for one think of him as my second favorite QB of all time.

I think it is almost solely backlash against how his supporters/apologists have always portrayed him. He's been the classic talk radio topic in this town where people migrate to the extremes.

He is either St Drew the superstar QB always done in by system changes and new OCs who took the high rode when evil BB stole his job from him as he lay on his death bed or evil JAG Drew who was the worst QB in the league, killing the team year after year, and then knifing Tom Brady in the back at every opportunity.

I wish Drew the best. Yes, he never came close to living up to expectations, but we had quite a few good years with him at the helm at QB. Without him, we may not have a team in New England right now.

I don't think Bledsoe will ever go down as a great QB (I think unbiased people recognize he was very good for a number of years), but I still don't get the haters though. Yeah, Bledsoe didn't like to be here in the offseason, but a lot of QB especially prior to the last 5-10 years had that attitude. Brett Favre would hide in Mississippi the entire offseason that he wasn't required to attend until he retired this year.

Bledsoe is no Brady for sure, but he is no Joey Harrington, David Carr, Tim Couch, Ryan Leaf, etc. either. While he was here other than maybe his last year or two, he was consistently a top 3-5 QB in the league. He just wasn't a top one or two like Brady.

Ooohhh!
I'd be more careful? The sarcasm radar on this site seems to be broken.:D

"tap, tap tap"

Yup...sarcasm radar's dun broke.:bricks:

I don't like to say it.... but.... when people on here are really negative to Bledsoe (im talking about the really really extreme haters) it comes off like they are bandwagon fans.

How can you hate the guy?
Did i miss something that he did?

The people that have a pure hatrid for him come off like they were never fans of this team when they sucked and then drafted him #1 and watched him turn the team around.

Just b/c they didn't win a Superbowl with him starting doesn't mean he wasn't a pats qb.

I also wish him well.

I also agree that sarcasm flies over some peoples heads like a rocket ship.
