People are on here going on about our WR4. Some teams dont even have a decent WR1.

Chicago for example. Or Miami. Or Tennessee.

I mean... if you are a QB, do you really want to be slinging the ball to Bradley, Ginn Jr or Williams in double coverage?

Luckily, those teams don't have a decent QB either.

Nor have Minnesota when I think about it. :singing:

Chicago looks to have a historically bad offense as of right now.

All three of those teams look to be doing a "WR by committee" thing:

Miami: Wilford, Ginn, Perry, Hagan, Camarillo, Kircus

Chicago: Booker, Lloyd, Hester, Bradley, Davis

Tennessee: Gage, B. Jones, R. Williams, P. Williams, McCareins, C. Davis

Don't forget Jacksonville. Reggie Williams and Matt Jones have been 1st Round busts. I guess Jerry Porter might be able to turn it around, but he only had that one really good year.

My symapthies to David Garrard for dealing with that WR corp.

And not one of those teams has someone who I'd even contemplate throwing to. At a push, on any other given roster, I'd say Wilford is a WR2 and no more (and thats being kind)

Hester, D? See Howard, D.

you never know with Da Bears.

When you think they are going to suck they make the playoffs
and when you think they should be good they suck.

I actually really rate Jerry Porter. He's a solid WR2 with a good pair of hands. Jones is physically a great asset, but with his heart no more than a liability.

Yeah, don't be so quick to write off the Bears. And I wouldn't mind Matt Jones on the Patriots.

Wow, the Titans suck. David Givens was released? Their QB is a poor-man's Vick with no feel for the game. I think they finish 4-12 or 5-11. The D is decent, but I think Jeff Fisher's days are #'ed.

Think his lack of effort and ability to play hurt would make him a no-no with BB and Pioli.

BB has shown a tendancy to go for "trouble makers" (Dillon, Moss) if they have shown an ability to play banged up. Jones hasnt.
