I am continually underwhelmned by Yahoo Sports (well, other than Jason Cole) but this one takes the cake as Terrel Owens somehow made the list.

I guess I can't much argue about Manning being at the very top though I would say that if Manning is 1, Brady is certainly 1A.

Apparently, however, all that Brady is really known for is banging chicks and evading the paparazzi.

Oh, I don't know. As a Colts fan, I remember a few SB's I'd rather forget. ;)

I love the he doesn't have his defining moment. Funny, but I'm assuming the writer means that he led his team to FG winning drives not td's. I guess those Super Bowls shouldn't really count. Funny, but didn't he lead his team on a great drive in the last 3 minutes of a Super Bowl about 6 weeks ago? Oops. Defense blew it. That Brady guy must be a schmuck. Because all of his other guys have that defining moment. Moss and Owens have never won anything. Manning got his Super Bowl. Hardly, a great drive or even great game. Exactly, 3 super bowls have been won in that manner. Montana's, Giants and the one where GB let Denver score. Only 3 other SB winning scores occured in the last minute. Brady led his team to 2 of them. How you cannot call them defining moments is absurd. That's like saying that Marilyn Monroe chick was pretty hot. But, that damn mole turns me off.

Manning and Brady have to be by far the top two on the list.

Manning is probably a better comparison to Favre though. After all, Manning and Favre are both STATS guys. Yes, they lead their teams to many victories, but they are known as perennial 'fantasy studs' as well as NFL studs.

The one thing that the three having going for them (Manning, Favre, Brady) is that they all have been able to maintain their health thus far.

You can tell that Manning has already assumed the role of the NFL icon. He is on almost EVERY commercial.

It's just personal opinion.

I think it's interesting that Randy is ahead of Brady (If that is in fact the way the writer intended) as he would be relegated to a great receiver, but probably not a HOF'r or at least a first ballot HOF'r if it had not been for Tommy's arm that enabled The Randy Resurrection of 2007 (I'm copy writing that BTW). Don't get we wrong I'm a Randy Moss fan 100% - I just recognize the reality of the situation...Tom Brady.

Jealousy is the only thing keeping the most consistent QB is recent history from being No. 1. - I mean 3 Super Bowls, MVP's, Records galore, etc etc. It really shows the ignorance and the personal agendas on the part of these writers.

I guess the bottom line is that we are hated - Get used to it, Tommy and Randy are about to go on a rampage thru the league in the next few years so it will only get worse - Just go out there and sling it Tom.

It's interesting that people used to say Manning was not as good as Brady because Brady has the rings, and other people would say the Brady wasn't as good as Manning because Manning has the numbers. Now Manning has at least a ring and Brady has at least some awesome numbers (50 TD passes, etc.) But Manning will always be ahead of Brady in some people's minds, I guess.

The only good thing about the offseason,I don't have to see Mannings Mug every few minutes.

4th quarter comebacks are great, but you have to be losing in the 4th quarter to do one

we all know it's just a story to spark some interest. if farve was the nfl icon, and terrel owens is up there on the icon list, i gotta believe he's looking at it from a media perspective.

who whips up the media more?

not brady.
