The Miami Herald reports Jason Taylor would like to be traded this offseason.

The Herald suggests that Miami's failure to land free agent OLB Calvin Pace makes a Taylor trade less likely, but a draft-day deal could happen if they pick UVA OLB/DE Chris Long No. 1 overall. Taylor reportedly wants to play on a contender. In the end, the odds seemingly favor a trade being worked out.

Yes, more Jason Taylor talk. But it's coming straight out of his mouth now. The contender talk is promising.

The sun rises, the birds chirp, and Jason Taylor still wants out of Miami.

Is there any player that Patriots fans have speculated about getting more over the span of an entire career? :D

Taylor may be able to force a trade, but unless the Pats give up a heck of a lot I still don't see the guy in New England next season.

Jason Taylor Will Not Be Traded To The Patriots. Ever. Stop.

That's not entirely true. Everyone who has ever started a Taylor to the Patriots? thread (a not inconsequential group) has likely started every Madden franchise they've ever played by trading Taylor to the Pats. :D

I start my franchies by updating the roster, and if thats not the most current, i trade to make it so every players on the team are players currently signed with the patriots.

I wouldn't be so sure of that. It's not like Miami is going to contend with New England anytime soon. If Taylor were 25, then I can see what your saying. But he is not and he only has a few years left. It would not surprise me if he ended up in New England or Indy. Jason Taylor is the only player over 30 the Pats should get.

Have you ever started a Taylor to the Pats thread? If not, my theory stands. :D

Freeney and Taylor on the ends of a defensive line facing us would NOT be something I'd look forward to seeing....

Man lands on Moon, Berlin Wall falls, Sun rises in the East.

He won't be traded to the Patriots. Parcells isn't stupid, and there's 30 other teams who would want him. If he was a free agent, he'd look at the Patriots. But he isn't, and he won't be.

nope, you're right, I never started a taylor thread, I have, however, posted in other threads how it would be nice to have him for a seaon.

Thank you. That's all I'm sayin'.

I'd give a 4th round pick to see how much Taylor has left in the tank. :) I would think BP would rather commit seppuku than fork over JT to a division rival though.

This would be a huge pick up

im sure every team in the league would want JT but every team in the league isnt gunna get him. Theres only a small list of contenders he would be traded to, and that list is even smaller considering Indy has no 1st round pick so its unlikely they would be interested in trading their 2nd or 3rd for a 34 year old, same with San Diego they have no 2nd or 3rd round pick to trade. So you got NE, GB, Dallas and maybe a couple other playoff calibur teams interested.

I never started a Taylor thread....but did trade for him after my first season:D...Ironically, i went 16-0 my first season only to lose in the divisional round 34-7 to the Steelers. Brady was knocked out of the game in the 3rd quarter and i couldn't hold onto the damn ball...:(

iam quite sure the colts will take a look in.

JT at OLB would be insane. That would free us up to go CB at #7.

I highly doubt it happens, but who knows!
