I think the AFC East division becomes MUCH tougher with other 3 teams FA pickups

Brady is an excellent QB. I have my own opinion of him as far as comparing him to other QB's, but there's no doubt he's an excellent QB in the NFL. It's just amusing how much people bow to him around here. Surely you must realize that the fans here aren't exactly objective, probably including yourself. You have a nice day too.

I mean....It's a New England board....What were you expecting?

oh man, I dont even know where to begin on this one, first off, the colts shouldnt be any more of a convern then previous years, yea ok we lost some good D, but do you think by the begning of the season we're gonna walk out there with 9 guys on the feild? Come on, something huge will happen on D. and we all know it.

second, the afc east is no contest once again, the bills might sneak in with a wild card MAYBE. But as far as the patriots go, 8-0 in the afc east once again.

yes I said 8-0, I know its 6-0, but I wanted to say 8-0, ok?

O.K. let's see, #12 and #81. AFC East is still shakin in ther boots. They worry about us, not us about them. After the rancid humiliation that was SB-XLII can you even imagine the fire that TB is gonna play with this year. NO F-n way the AFC East is tough! GOD PLEASE SEND THE GIANTS BACK TO THE SUPERBOWL AGAINST US! So we can destroy them like 56 to 3. F- the NEW YORK GIANTS! Man I am still BITTER! (Sorry all) GO PATS!

Ummm....ok? Or maybe math just wasn't the other poster's strong point?

I'm just saying people shouldn't insult a QB until they're out of their rookie season. Also people should do things such as bust Favre for having good YAC receivers when Brady has his own corps of those. It's just amusing how hypocritical people can be on here when they want to insult a non-NE player.

If Tom Brady was the QB of your team, you'd bow too. I agree with you though that it's too early to judge Edwards.

Nittanylions is that Harvard punk in Good Will Hunting...you know the scene...Will walks outside and up to the window of the bar and says.."hey...you like apples??...well how about them apples.." and holds up the girl's telephone number...Nittanylions is that self important windbag left gawking as Will(Patriots) walks away with the girl(Super Bowl trophies).

two things...
1. the other three AFC east teams better HOPE they get close to pats this year, b/c from this year on the jets are gonna regress with their cap probs, the fins are a long way from being competitive, and the bills have a chacne to beat us, if everything goes their way....

2. i think our team next year is great, i see us going 15-1, and winning the SB (maybe 14-2)

I was expecting people to not slam one QB for doing the exact same thing that Brady made his name off of. But maybe that's still too much. Of course people like Brady around here, but criticizing other players for the same things your own players do? Not the smartest thing to do.

Haha, feel free to actually contribute a decent idea or thought to one of these threads.

Yes, you caught me. All I ever dreamed about was winning the Super Bowl trophy. Please let me be a Patriots fan, oh baby, oh baby, oh baby. [/sarcasm]

You're right, I most likely would. It just bothers me when people criticize a player not on the Pats for something exactly the same as what a NE player does (Edwards dinks and dunks, well that's what Brady did before Moss too). I'm not saying Brady is bad because of it, obviously. Like I said, he's an excellent QB.

And I agree about Edwards. He regressed towards the end of the season, but it was mostly because of the weather imo. Too much of a California boy. He's got potential, but for the Bills to be good this season he has to develop quite a bit. We'll have to see.

Getting to the original thought of the thread ... if the AFC East had been tougher we might not have had a perfect record ... but we would have been better preparred for the Giants in the Super Bowl. Playing our division foes weakened us whereas the Giants playing their division foes toughened them.

So I do hope the Bills, Jets and dolphins improve ... as long as we're still on top it's all good.

I expect the dolphins to be 6 and 10, the Jet's to be 7 and 9 the bills to be 10 and 6 the pats 12 and 4

Wow... lots of Buffalo Bills love on this thread!
10-6? Nice! Looks like I'm starting to rub off on you guys...;)

No problem hey can you do one of me on the picture thread?
There were some really good ones.
I do like Jauron as a coach BB always goes out his way to talk good about him I remember what he did with a really average Bears team.
If you wouldn't of been decimated with injuries you would of made the wild card over the Titans easily.
BB said Jauron was his choice for coach of the year.

You whine too much, here you go.....

I think the jets are in trouble. I think they panic and draft DMC, showing Mangini is worried more about his job than the future of the team. All the Miami signings are pretty much backups/depth guys. None could start on our team. What they are doing is a wholesale flushing, they will be bad on purpose next year. Buffalo should do well. All these teams play us tough, and it wouldnt surprise me to lose ONE game to them next year.I have this:
Pats 13-3
Bills 10-6
Jets 5-11
Miami 4-12

Seriously I know your a Pats fan and I cant expect you all to be unbias but how does adding Pace, Jenkins, Faneca, Woody and probably Run DMC to the Jets equal one extra win from last year?

Pats: 13-3
Bills: 10-6
Jets: 7-9
Dolphins: 4-12

That would be my guess, as of right now
