If Favre wasn't so AWFUL in the game against the Giants they would have made the Super Bowl. They were definately good enough to make it last year, the reason they didn't was FAVRE.
What a big crybaby. How the hell do you end such a great career on this type of note. I think he was done anyways but it's so lame to bame it on the FO not getting a player they had no shot at anyways.
Totally agreed. :agree:
I think it would be a shame if Favre ended his HOF career because of anything other than that he simply felt better about retiring than playing another football season.
Brett = Brat... see what I did there, by changing a few letters around? It nearly looks the same......... and he would be acting like a brat if he retired because they didn't sign a star WR...... right? :bricks:
Because Mortensen always is 100 percent correct.
You know who else would be acting like a brat if they didn't have Randy Moss: yup, our very own Tom Brady. So don't go acting all superior.
A guy on a SOSH football thread posted this:You're assuming that what Mort said is anything more than baseless speculation. I have a very hard time believing that it is.
Different. Brady wasn't the main cause of the loss the year before. And regarding Mortensen, he's right a lot more than he's wrong. His source is probably Favre or Favre's wife.
Who's comparing the losses? I'm saying Brady would have been upset, like Farve reportedly was, if he lost Moss this year.
Who is this Favre person?
Never heard of the guy...
That's what Mort reported on ESPN Mike and Mike a few minutes ago. He quit the day it became clear that Moss re-upped with N.E. What are we going to do now without Sir/St. Brett's waffling every winter?
Make waffles.
