Have you been reading the headlines? Moss to Philly? Moss to Dallas? Moss to Indy?????? None of these teams have spoken to Moss. He's made no visits and been given no offers. Florio is tossing wild, extreme speculation and fantasy up and passing it off as some kind of legit rumor. Pretty poor if you ask me.

It's Sunday, he didn't feel like working too hard so he through something out there which he thought would be controversial enough to create some hits while he relaxes on the sofa.

moss is gone if the patriots arent close now they wont cave, thanks for the year

Patriot rumors are his mealticket. Stop visiting his site, and wait for the real news from Reiss.

He's just doing what every other mediot is doing. There are no Green Bay talks, there is no Dallas interest. These are all just things the media speculate could or should be happening so they can have a story. And if they can drive a wedge of some sort between NE and a player in the process...they hit the jackpot!!!!!!!!!!!!

And if it doesn't work, nothing ventured, nothing gained. At least they kept the pot stirred and got lots of hits past the first wave of FA.

Telephones are Amazing. Much better than cans with strings.

I think only one thing is true right now.....The Patriots and Moss are still trying to work out a deal. The negotiations are in full swing. And until Moss starts touring himself around I will believe that both parties are still trying.
Assume everthing said in the past was true...The pats want Moss and Moss is willing to take less to stay here.

There are still plenty of issues to the contract, ie length, dollar amount, guarentees, incentives. Thay could just be hammering out the details.

Maybve the Pats are willing to offer more to Moss if he gives an out clause or aybe Moss is willing to take less money buts wants a high signing bonus maybe he will take 3 year 20 mil but 10 has to be guarenteed or something. These are just dumb scenarios but we as fans panic and think the worst maybe it isnt so bad maybe they just need some time for the details.

These guys make a living searching for news on the internet and then writing. The big chalupa from the Herald had one last night with news he garnered from NFL.com. I'm going to switch careers ... I never knew they paid people for gathering internet gossip and writing it.

Reiss has no idea what's happening. These are the Patriots, they don't comment.

If Reiss thought he knew, he would have written it somewhere.

He is very good -- my favorite -- but he doesn't hold stuff back.

Florio is a tool. Tomase is worse. Tomase's column in today's Herald was a joke.

Technically speaking the "story" on the PFT Rumormill is that THERE IS NO RUMOR THAT MOSS MIGHT LAND WITH THE COLTS.

Therefore, they speculate about the lack of speculation - and, presto, we have a report that it's a rumor.

I suppose one can't fault a site called the rumormill for speculating when there's no speculation - but one can't report about a rumor that doesn't exist either.

Adam Schefter is the only source i consider, other than that the rest is speculation...

The whole Farve/Culpepper/Moss thing is getting worse now that spygate..

To be honest man - this actually feels refreshing compared to SpyGate.

At least we're all worried about football related moves right now - not senators and congress.

You do understand that Schefter admitted last night he has no basis for his Green Bay musings which others are now citing as if they are real, don't you?

Well Schefter is tied to the leauge.. John Clayton is tied to Espn .. I will admit that Schefter talks I take a little more seriously, but did not hear about that he has no source for his mussings
