16 hours into the new league year, and already complaining the Pats aren't aggressive enough/ willing to throw money at anybody. smh I really expect nothing less at this point though.

Wow, that's some well thought out stuff there. I wonder if he sends his wife out shopping with the same though process ?

you should have heard him, *****ing and moaning. Kevin Winter says, who do you want them to sign? Felger says, I don't care. The name doesn't matter. Sign someone.

Are you *&&^$$# kidding me?

good stuff about the wife!
and guess what, if we had signed somebody
he would be complaining about over spending and how the pats traditionally sit and wait and make economic decisions

clearly he's aiming at the EEI morons market
I used to be an EEI guy until during superbowl week 89 year old people call in to discuss what the sox are doing this winter

FA is not as impactful as previous years would indicate. It's becoming more en vogue to build a team through the draft rather than overpaying average players. Tommy Kelly is a perfect example. With that said, this FA class is pretty weak, so I could care less if the Pats don't sign any players. I'm only concerend about Randy Moss.

Felger needs to get a grip.

he was b!tching the other night that he's ascared that they are going to go back to their "cheap" ways and not be really fun and cool like they where last season. pointed out that in 05 and 06 they had a lot of bonus money to pay out to Seymor and Brady and that's why they didn't bring in anyone and "cheaped out" but last year once that was done with they went full tilt. completely ignored the Branch situation in 06 and all the crazy crap that happened in 05 with sudden retirements and injuries and such :bricks:

He's a jerk. What do you expect him to say? Something that makes sense?

You should call in and say we signed Bruschi, Paxton and Kelly Washington already. That's a lot of moves right already. Hopefully, we can get Moss back and just sit back a while as every other team goes crazy.

Felger = Borges, both tools of the media and fools period.. anyone who listens to either one has to be stoned or stupid.

I'm available...and I'll play for cheap money. I won't help the team, but it will make Felger happy.

The FA's out there are pretty weak and WAY overpriced.

1) Sign Randy Moss

2) Re-sign as many of our own as we can

3) Save as much $$$$$ for possible use in the draft when we use our #7 - or move UP, possibly.

This may be the year to get the blue chipper draft choice, based on all of the above.

Of course, Michael Felger would have to have brains to think about things on a level beyond his usual grade 3 education.

I have a feeling the Pats are going to infuse some players from the draft this year.

I have nothing to go on other than the fact that the market is crazy this year and the Pats usually don't take the bait. I'll bet they see something they like in this draft. Call it a hunch. I know this draft isn't supposed to have a lot of elite talent but I think they have a plan that doesn't include a big splash this year.

Why are you reading/listening to this?

There is still some chance they go after Pace I'm hoping..But that comment just sums up Felgy compeltely. stereo type NEer, just a damn reaction thats all felger ever is. What the Pats need to do is handle Moss and Gaffney if possible, possibly land some defensive help and thats it.

He has a revisionist history. He thinks at this point last year we had already offered a contract to Welker, Stallworth, etc. The thing is we didn't even find out about Adalius Thomas until about 24 hours after free agency started. So at this very point last year we did not hear anything about the Pats signing or visiting with anyone.

Just because Miami is going crazy signing everyone in sight, doesn't mean they are doing it right. Let's face it. Anyone they sign should be an upgrade, but they are basically signing a lot of decent players but not great players.

Forget Felger. His show is finished. Being a sports media bimbo only gets you so far.

worst part about it is....you'll have to avoid watching him tonight as well on CSN either before or after the celts game because you know he's going to spew the same s*&*

Hey Felgy, I think I can safely say that 90% of your audience has outgrown you in football knowledge. See if you can process this simple possibility.....Last years draft was pretty weak, thus aggressive moves in FA. This years draft is looking exceptionally strong and depending on who we retain, may cause the FO to draft more young talent this year. You can bank on the Pats FO having probably the next few years of draft and FA possibilities already rolling through their "machine" and are more than several steps ahead of you!

would he be pleased if we signed donald hayes?

Too bad we don't have an azzclown forum here.

We could relegate all Tomasse and Felger threads to where they belong.
