I used to listen to it often but I havent checked it out in the past three four months... it was oright I guess.

Re: Opinion of PFW in Progress..

i listen to it quite often, i think they give a good inside feel to the patriots especially durring the offseason.

Re: Opinion of PFW in Progress..

Fred is cool. The other guys seem overeager to show how "evenhanded" they are, like they're proving something to the anti-patriot scum that constitutes the rest of the Boston media by knocking the Pats every chance they get. Stopped listening in '06. Sports radio, across the board suc ks, and I recommend that people stop listening to it and try books on tape. You'll feel better about yourself.

I like to listen to it both for Pats stuff and also whatever wacky stuff they talk about when they go off on tangents. sometimes it can be a bit like listening to Felger or one of the other people that seem to revel in peeing in your cheerios but a lot of the time what they are saying is right, where as Felger is usually wrong :bricks:

I think it sounds like a bunch of Junior High school kids who broke into a radio station.

Great analogy, I wish I'd thought of that.

Yep.

If I wanted to listen to a bunch of idiots scream over each other, I'd just tune in the Big Show.

What we need is football talk for grown ups.

Honestly, the last time I listened to their feed all I could think of was one of our weekend college radio shows. You know, the type that come on at 2-4am when nobody is listening.

Re: Opinion of PFW in Progress..

good show. they don't pretend to know everything like on Weei

Re: Opinion of PFW in Progress..

To be fair, I don't really know about their football knowledge, never listened long enough.

I have tuned in around draft time and here's my beef. If they're on 3-4 hours or more, they act like you're going to listen the whole 4 hours.

It's unprofessional. People want to get updates or analysis on a regular basis, then go on with their lives. They need to have a regular structure instead of rambling conversations.

And the Chad Jackson innuendo party was a disgrace. When you're paid by the club, you don't start whispering campaigns about their players. Even if they weren't Patriots employees, that was unprofessional.
