Not worry. I would be comfortable with Booker, Gaffney, Jackson, Welker.

Thomas is coming back at TE, and Big Ben will be here.

Upgrade the OL at the RT spot, and Maroney and Morris will run wild enough not to miss Moss.

Not as much fireworks and long bombs, but success none the less.

We once again become the 'under the radar' team I love to see and we slither into SB 43 with the no respect card that the 3 previous SB Champions had going into the playoffs.

Moss is far from the end of the Pats chances - We won games all year when Moss had less than 40 yards in receptions,namely the 3 playoff games (although we lost the last one ).

Would Moss loss hurt? - Sure it would in terms of keeping defenses from playing honest and deep but overall his absence would not keep the offense from scoring points.

I'd be disappointed but not suicidal.

He wasn't in the original plans, it seems, for last year's team until he fell into their laps on draft weekend, so Belichick and Pioli were apparently fine with Stallworth/Welker/Gaffney/Jackson/Washington and I trust them to know what they're doing.

If Randy were to leave I think we would go back to Stallworth & Washington and make solid offers.

We'd miss Randy, but have money to spend elsewhere.

What can you do? Move on. I spent 4 days in bed when the Celts traded Danny Ainge. I learned after that not to get to attached.

That's not to say that seeing Ty Law, Nomar and frickin Damon in other unis doesn't still hurt.

I agree with those who believe the Truth: Defense Wins Championships.

That $30M can be much, much better spent elsewhere, e.g.: Re-sign Stallworth, Gaffney, Washington; sign a FA or 2 like DJ Hackett, Ernest Wilford, Justin McCareins, Reche Caldwell; and be agressive about signing UDFAs.
