Doesn't seem to be a lot of love for him. I think he has the makings of a solid inside LB. 6'1", 253. He has the size to play inside in our system and not get swallowed up by blockers. He is also athletic and young. Who is better out there?

No thanks. Mitchell is a very, very average player. I'd rather look elsewhere.

Wow. Every game I have watched, he has always played solid. Above average. Considering the crop of FA LBs out there, who would you suggest is a better match to fill our hole in the middle?

I would surmise some of that has to do with the front four, considering their other starting OLB, Reggie Torbor, is only average as well.

I have no idea who out there might be better. But if we're relying on Kawika Mitchell to play ILB for us, we are officially in deep trouble.

The weak attempt to tackle Graham at the 2:10 mark might be the worst effort I have ever seen on an NFL field. Mitchell is #50.

Go find the clip of harlem Branett trying to tackle Barry Sanders.

Willis Magagee did the same thing to Seau this year. Reminded me of the Barry Sanders run.

I think your exactly right. No thanks. The Giants front 4 make him appear to be better than he is. We dont want him.

Being a Broncos fan I've had the honor of laughing at this guy the last few years. I'm actually disappointed he will not be w/ the Chiefs next year. Trust me, you do not want him on your team. He has some talent but is often out of position and unreliable. He does not seem to pick up schemes very quickly either. You'd be better off drafting somebody and trying to develop them yourselves...

Last time I checked, the front 4 are primarily pass rushers and not run stoppers. I wouldn't dismiss his abilities based on this. It makes no sense.

We could employ him to clean Bills office or something but thats it.

Yeah he looked so average against us in the Super Bowl. I beg to differ he would look Great in the Middle of our Defense.

He made a couple of good plays because our OL couldn't do jack the entire game.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

But, by all means, evaluate based on his performance in one game. Nevermind the GB game, where he looked terrible. I think you have a future in this, skippy.

I'll tell you what makes no sense: this logic.

I really think you should be head of BB's scouting department. He'll totaly be sold if you hand him an article talking about Mitchells contract situation. The plays and awareness he made and shown in that article, man, what a player.

Throwing insults around when opinion differs let you down though. Plus the fact you chose spaz. Putting it in capitals doesn't make it any more effective either, infact it highlights the worst put down ever.

I think he's a decent player. Would he be good for depth? At the moment he would yes, but I and I'm sure others would hope we can land and draft and develop better. Wouldn't surprise me if Belichick has him on radar since he had a decent game against us but I doubt he'd be licking his lips at the thought of Kawika Mitchell.

Gee. Let see. Who could BB be licking his chops over? I think (and I said this earlier in the post) based on the available talent available in the FA market, Mitchell is the best choice at ILB. I think if you can name a better ILB FA, then you can take my job as head of BB's Scouting Dept.

Yeah. You are right. Playing behind 260 lb speed rushers is MORE CONDUCIVE to being a successful ILB than playing behind 320 lb run stuffers.

You make no sense.
