I was able to watch some of the DB workouts this morning. I am amazed at how people can have Talib ranked higher than Rogers-Cromartie. Cromartie had outstanding footwork, fluid hips, smooth transitions and good ball skills. He looks like a lanky guy, but looking at some film breakdowns they did, the kid can pop.

Talib on the other hand looked atrocious today. Watching him swiveling his hips was like watching Tyrone Biggums chase an Impala. His breaks weren't smooth at all. I thought he was a pretty decent player, but I guess it was mostly ball skills I was seeing in games. I just can't see how a high-level college corner could possibly be that akward in transition...

I saw Talib too, you're right. I'd be happy with a few of this years CBs if the Pats took them. Even Flowers, though slow today, still intrigues me. I love having hitters on defense and that kid is a hitter. Wonder what Mayock's gonna say about his poor performance today...

DRC has no ball skills in terms of adjusting to the ball.... just like ellis hobbs III

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie looked amezing

Cro looked good enough in the senior bowl, but seeing what transpired today I want linebackers, early and often.

Cro has cemeted himself clearly as the best corner in this draft, I hope BB feel the same way. Deion Sanders couldn't stop talking about him.

no ball skills? hes probably got top 2 ball skills of all the CBs..hes impressive. Hes just a little skinny and competition question but other than that..hes got what it takes..easily

Forget the competition question Cromartie can play on any level, the kid is an absolute athletic freak, a NFL stud for years to come, BB this is Asante's replacement.

I've got Cromartie 1A and (Talib/McKelvin) both 1B. Cromartie's Senior Bowl brought him into Round 1, Cromartie's combine has brought him into the top 10. Thankfully for us, we're picking 7th. Cro will quickly make anyone who may miss Asante forget about him pretty quickly.

i saw some video from NFL.com on Talib Playbook

..showed him getting burned by a 4.51 WR..and couldnt catch up..then poor effort imo in run support..not physical. didnt get his hands on WR and let him fly free on a cover 2

i like Cromartie/McKelvin as 1a

Jenkins as 2

Cason as 3 and Talib as 4
