beat me by 2sec!

he had a clue...I didn't get a good vibe from that interview. Rosie is a businessman, I didn't figure he'd be into taking much of a paycut :(

Re: Colvin CUT

get ready for more -ve press from ESPN :)

Re: Rosie cut by pats

Wow, say hello to Vernon Gholston?

Complete overhaul of the linebacking corp?

Re: Rosie cut by pats

How much cap space does that save us? Reading into this does it mean: 1. they tried to restructure but he declined 2. the FO feels that his time has come and gone 3. there is something big, personnel wise, on the horizon.

Very interesting move. Man, I love this time of the year. It would have been so much sweeter with a SB victory.

Re: WEEI - Pat's just CUT ROSIE

He understands the process but he obviously didn't have a clue he was being cut. He's running a benefit here on Thursday night and he's been rehabbing here for over a month. Said the foot did not require surgery and he was working it back to football shape.

There are times when I question if not what they do how they do it. This is one of those times...

HOLY SHTTTTT.

I guess we are. I am worried now. Who is his back up and where is the depth gonna come from.

Time will tell.

Re: Rosie cut by pats

IMO, this probably means that either a) he was unwilling to restructure or b) they don't see him recovering from his foot injury anytime soon. If I had to guess, I'd actually say b- pass rushers and foot injuries don't mix well, and the Pats and Colts both got hit pretty hard in that regard this year. Either way, this makes drafting a in the first day pretty much a necessity, probably.

Re: Rosie cut by pats

I hope they do not get gholston

He is a OLB/DE conversion project - nto for 18 million gaurenteed

Re: BREAKING NEWS: per WEEI Colvin has been cut

Maybe they think that Pierre Woods is ready to step up and get some snaps? Doesn't seem it, since if that was the case he probably would have actually played last year, but a possibility worth considering.

Re: Rosie cut by pats

I guess TJ Slaughter is starting now :rocker:

calm down. this doesnt mean he wont be back. still could re-sign.

btw, its a shame he got hurt his first year, he's been a relative disapointment since he signed.
