Chad Jackson for Micheal Huff, now i'm the biggest Chad Jackson fan on this board I think.
I actually have his jersey and wear it whenever he is active.
Needless to say it's spent most of it's time in the closet, and in pristine condition.
Anyhow we have this young wide receiver bursting with potential, If we retain Moss, Gaffney and maybe Stalworth, this guy is being under neutralized maybe has fallen out of favor with the coaching staff which I hope isn't true.

On the other hand you have two out of division franchises who our supposedly shopping two very talented defensive backs.
If the signing we all hope for takes place we are more than stacked at wideout.
That leaves us with a guy not seeing the field, not getting his fair shake at his nfl career.
This is a guy who boasted he'd be the most valuable rookie in his draft class.
Now i'm not ready to slap him with the Chris Canty, Tony Simmons, Bethel Johnson bust label yet.
Although it's especially intriguing that both teams shopping these talented productive defensive backs also are rumored to be looking for a big fast wide out.
Especially Davis who doesn't even need to eat his viagra, cialis breakfast when he see's a big tall guy run a sub 4.3 we have just that guy.
So how about a even swap Huff for Jackson, only if we resign Moss and have more than enough depth in that position.
I'd much rather see huff suit em up for us than have Jackson inactive every week and Rashad Baker out their defending the pass with the game on the line thank you for reading this rant of a post.
Thoughts? Comments?

Not sure a guy one year removed from a torn acl can be classified as in pristine condition. Throw in no production. I would have to think this guys trade value is zero. Our best option is to work with him and try to develop him. Use him in plays that suit his skills. Fly pattern. Just run as fast as you can. WR screens. One step up..two steps back. Catch ball. Run like heck.

why would oakland trade for a broken wr who comes from a college who is known for producing wrs who overall are failures at the nfl level?

Sorry PA. I meant my jersey is in pristine condition, not the man himself.
But I think a team especially Al Davis could make the trade.
All we have to do is send him a bottle of scotch and Jackson's highlights from the combine.
We might get him to throw in a second or third along with Mr Huff you never know.

Because it's Jokeland JC, Davis feels like a idiot for trading us Moss for nothing i'm just saying it is possible.
We all know how he get's crazy over speed well Jackson has that.
BB and Pioli could more than likely act like there not trying to trade him and then get Al interested then go no no we have big plans for this guy.
Then Al being the genius at his golden years thinks ok i'll buy him from them.

i would love to trade our receiver who rarely plays for a starting Safety.

If Oakland was stupid enough for this to happen, i would be all over it.

Wow, yea. Maybe after that we can trade Oscar Lua for AJ Hawk. I mean, Lua and Jackson have accomplished pretty much the same things in the NFL. When your justification for a trade is, "Hey it's Team X is dumb, and Owner Y is old so he might do it," you know it's ridiculous. Yea, I'm sure Pioli pretending Chad Jackson is untouchable will entice the Radiers. Great logic, and a solid premise.

I agree.. who comes up with these crazy trade scenarios?

See Keegs get's the idea, it's like when you were a kid and got the foolish trusting kid to trade the expensive card for 2 or 3 that weren't worth jack.
It sounds cruel but this is the real world.
If I was oaklands front office i'd make sure during draft week and until it was over Davis had no access to phones, pagers, computers, cb's anyway that good ol Bill could fleece him.
I could hear that conversation.
Hey Al, Raiders employees in the back mr davis hang up the phone, hang up the phone now.
Now Now guys I have a call on the line it's my nephew Billy hi Billy.
Hi uncle Al say I was just thinking it was just wrong to trick you on that whole Moss for a 4th rounder thing.
Al- yeah it wasn't a very nice thing to do.
That's why i'm calling I want to make it right with you unki Al.
Well what did you have in mind?
Well you saw how successful our offense was with a big fast talented wide receiver right?
Hell he made a 6th rounder look like a hall of famer.
"Al intrigued"
What's your point Bill?
Well we have another Randy Moss and he's younger.
"Al" younger?
Yeah he's barely 23 still a puppy.
"AL" - Can he run really really fast?
Bill- Yes really really really fast AL
AL- WOW
Well why are you telling me?
Bill- We don't have enough balls to go around and I know you need a go to guy for Jamarcus so I Thought i'd give you a buzz and see if you were interested?
"AL" - Well tell me about him.
Bill- He's about 6 ft 2 4.28 40 AL you there Buddy?
AL- Did you say 4.28
Bill- yep well i've timed him under 4.23 but anyways
were all but guaranteed a trade with denver.
AL- Shanahan?
Bill- why yes the papers are faxing over now, oh I shouldn't of said anything forget all about it.
AL- Well what's he offering?
Bill - I don't care about petty things like compensation
although I heard you got a safety on your team well tweener really who can barely time under a 4.5 now.
AL- yeah it's a shame I had high hopes for the kid.
Bill- Well you can't have a guy like that slowing up your football team it be bad for the game.
Al- That's what I said these damn talent evaluators I have think they know more than me.
Bill- More than you AL impossible, say heres a crazy thought How about I give you this phenom for all our nasty business in the past you know the tuck rule and all.
AL- You mean it Billy?
Bill- Sure do but i'm gonna have to get something in return I was thinking i don't need much how about i take that Micheal hudd or huff whatever the slow guy off your hands and a third round pick, how does that sound?
AL- That's it there must be some kind of trick I wasn't born yesterday you know.
Bill- Believe me Al I know look all i ask is you make a trade with the jet's for Vilma then sign his rights over to us I think that evens up the pot then.
Al- Gee your not half as bad as those people say you are.
Bill- Thanks Al coming from you that means so much well i'm gonna let shannahan know no way he get's this guy he's going to my buddy AL.
Rock on Raider Nation.
Oh and AL
AL- yeah
Fax the papers over in the next 10 minutes or so we already got a plane dropping off the trash I mean player and we'll be picking Mike up.
How about Vilma on wednesday how's that work for you?
AL- Sounds good except the jet's want our second and fifth,
Bill- All did I mention the kid is fast?
AL- Okey Dokey Smokey it's a done deal.
Bill- great doing business with you good luck on your season.

I hope you cut and pasted this from somewhere and didn't waste time tpying it. that's time from your life you can't get back

how about this trade scenario?

you don't type any more trade scenarios and ill try my best not to read them.

ha sorry man i couldn't help it.

No I wrote it It only took a few minutes, I really don't care about a few spare minutes I had fun writing it out.
You want to tear it apart fine, I don't mind.

Oh no that one hurt me, what was that I can't have an idea of bettering the team and having any fun with it?
Listen you can have your opinion I've seen alot of trash on this board and been posting on it for like 5 years under a couple different screen names, been a pats fan since I was 8 i'm now 25.
If I have a trade scenario when you think about it isn't that crazy if the Pats threw a mid round pick in the deal.
I can have a little fun with it ok Tippet?
I really don't care what you think of the proposal I wrote it for people who might think outside the box.
You disagree fine.

I would like to trade my brain for a slow pidgeon's brain so that i might be able to comprehend the fairness of this horrendous trade.

A couple different screen names, huh?

Now why is that?

Honestly, because I had a really crappy computer back then and it crashed on me due to know virus protection multiple times.
So all my info was lost, I couldn't get my password I had cause i had it all stored in the pc and couldn't recall it.
Tried to get my old screen name back but couldn't.
So for about a year I just lurked cause I had so many posts it made me kinda disappointed to have to start over my rank again.
I live in PA. before we were laughing stocks now everybody thinks were cheaters.
So this is where I go for solace to discuss the pats and have some decent football conversations.
I'm young in a sense so I like to read the posts of the more experienced posters.
Unfortunately I really can't remember Tippet all that well but Slade was my favorite linebacker, Willie Clay my favorite defensive back.
I've met Todd Rucci he lives near me the closest I ever got to speaking to a player on the team cept I went to school with Klecko's cousin and Steve Isreal's nephew if you remember him? My gf met Kyle Brady he went to her church.
Anyhow once again I had to change my screen name like 4 times due to a crappy computer and virus security.
My favorite poster on this board was nem lol cause everybody roasted him and he kept talking.
It was very entertaining to me.
Sorry for making such a ridiculous trade proposal guess My madden franchise and real life got mixed there.

I like NEM and Chris Slade too.

we should go bowling and talk about fun trades that we can come up with to irritate everyone on here.

It's funny how crazy everyone gets this time of year.

Just as annoying as amusing.

On rare occasions.

The team of Belichick/Pioli make rational decisions with regards to player personnel. You should follow that example.
