There are a bunch of good ones; I've listed five. :)

I think the Pats are going to take a CB in the first round so I'm really trying to pay attention to them this year.

I like Talib. He's got the size. If he runs a good 40 on Tuesday he will pull away from the pack. Mike Jenkins is another guy that I think would fit the Pats. He's a future-coach type. Antoine Cason is another one that interests me. And one guy that is just one of those "football guys" is Chevis Jackson. He's not going to blow anyone away on Tuesday when he runs. But he's a player.

Those are the guys I'm looking at. Rogers-Cromartie as well but from what I've seen he doesn't really seem like a Pats type guy to me. But he's another solid prospect. Brandon Flowers too, he's Mike Mayock's top rated guy.

The Pats will have lots of options.

First choice would be Mike Jenkins CB South Florida but if BB took a LB first I would be just as happy.

I'd rather Talib, Cason or Rodgers-Cromartie. Yes, that means a trade down.

Jenkins is going to slip a bit because he's only 5'10 and most of the things I've read about him say he's better in man than zone and zone is what the Pats run.

Leodis McKelvin too. The Pats can basically have their pick of whichever one of these guys they like most at 7. It's just a question if they think that player is worthy of being taken 7th overall. If they did I'd be excited.

With poll! :) Which CB do you want most?

I listed the five I've seen most often mentioned.

Cason...I like his size and that it would likely come with a trade down. The Pac-10 is a tough league on corners too.

I love Jenkins...but after going over some scouting reports...I'm really like Cason for the job. He seems to be able to excel in any sceme. In 2007 he was thrown at 73 times and gave up only 23 passes for 258 yards, 2 TDs, and had 5 INTs. That's 3.53 YPA. He also had 14 passes defended.

If this is true, than I say BB will pass on him. We will have our pick @ 7 IF we stay here and don't trade down.

Also really like Terrell Thomas from USC...hes really talented although hes injury prone...scouting report says that hes a steal and will go mid 2 to mid 3. Hes a beast in zone. Also key to note that this particular scouting report says he could be as good as A.Cromartie.

highly doubt it. Cromatie is a freak. Thomas has question regarding his long speed. i just dont see Thomas an athletic freak. No one really is in this draft compared to what Cromartie and Calvin Johnson are/were

key words were certainly COULD BE, thats obviously the best possible case; doesnt mean it will happen. I agree with you that he's more likely than NOT the next Cromartie. Cromartie is a special player who comes around maybe once a decade. Just pointing out a scout observation I thought was interesting. Could be intriguing as a 3rd rounder.

Yeah ok, I just read my post over...I'm sick with the flu so perhaps that why I messed up what I was typing. lol...hes more likey to NOT be the next Cromartie. Excuse that.

Talib a 3rd rounder? lol

DEF. Antoine Cason:D

I'm glad someone else saw the same things I saw on Chevis. Without knowing what the Pats will chooose to do, and I'm really hoping they'll trade down from the 7th spot, I really can't say which CB they'll draft in the first round if they choose to do so. But even with a first round CB in the fold, I'd have no problem if they were to go back to the position with one of the thirds and draft Chevis. This kid can play.

wups i mean Thomas in 3rd? lol

hes late first depending how he runs

well i just said 3rd bc i really didnt want to type out mid 2nd to high 3rd. lol. Most of the scout reports say this area is the most probable for him bc of his injury history. So I'm only basing my opinion only off that, haven't seen him play all that much.... but if you know more about him then I'm sure your opinion is very valid as well...whoever BB and SP take I'll be fine with me. Just throwing out names. :D
