Will NFL Films produce an 18-1 DVD and will you buy it?

Or NFL productions or whoever it is that produces the Super Bowl DVDs.

I would most certainly buy a DVD chronicling the 18-1 season. The end may be heartbreaking, but its just start to settle in now what an achievement the 16-0 regular season was, and how amazing our offense was. History will look back on this season as one of the greatest achievements ever, not as a missed opportunity - and we were privileged to watch this team compete week after week.

I would love to see an NFL films produced DVD going game-by-game right from Week 1 on through the incredible regular season and of course culminating with the brutal loss.

Anyone know if said DVD will be produced?

The DVD should be titled 16-0.

Yes, I'm going to buy that right after "Best Kicks In My Nuts" and "Highlights of When Patjew Was Dumped By His Girlfriends" and "Kentucky Fried Caught Masturbating By My Mom".

I have recorded the games on DVD, so no.

NFL Films makes a 30-minute season-in-review for each team. I will not watch the Pats version.

LOL. Seriously though - think about it, you're going to try and repress 18 weeks of amazingness b/c of the bad ending? 16-0 is too much of an accomplishment not to find itself encapsulated in DVD form and sitting next to the 3 games to Glory videos on my shelf.

I know they do these yearbooks. I used to get them as a kid, but it feels like they've phased them out...can you still order them? I would absolutely buy it. I'm not trying to be a masochist here, but come on, 07 was still special.

I don't consider 2007 a failure, but the SB loss was one of the worst moments of my past 10 years (yes, I guess I have a great life), and I don't want to be reminded of it. I'm moving on with the aid of repression.

I hear you loud and clear. I know some people will say we need to get "perspective" or whatever...but when I opened my inbox the morning after the SB, I had an email from my own mother who said she "felt like a good friend had died"...That's all I needed to read to know that I don't need perspective and I was completely normal to feel like absolute shyt due to a game. So yes, the loss was brutal beyond belief and has kept me up many a nite since...

BUT...I can separate the record setting regular season from the SB disaster in my mind.

Heck, they made a 9-7 DVD for the 2002 season and I bought it... :p

Cleaning out the closets from home a little while back, found a VHS from the Bledsoe-Carroll era :D

How does one obtain these videos nowadays? I never see them for sale anywhere and the nflfilms site is useless.

This year's edition should be entitled, "One Game to Misery".

Thanks for the laugh, PJ. Haven't had many of those the past 3 weeks.

The only way I buy the 2007 DVD is if the NEP win the next 2 SBs, at least.

I would by a DVD on the 16-0 regular season. The (regular) season is something to cherish. You might never see 16-0 again and Brady to Moss so deadly again.

I have alot of Pats video's on tape, and this yr I did not tape anyone of them. Only for the simple fact is the NFL Network shows alot of replays , so it saves me from taping them, I dont have a DVR yet..I did tape the super bowl, only for the simple fact is it was suppose to be the most historical event ever .. I usually also tape playoff games, but did not since I knew or thought there would be a alot of commerative DVD's..

Lets just say after the SB, I threw out the tape in disgust.I buy everything Patriots , so to awnser the question yes I would..

I do have a tape of Pats Bears game in 94, Pats first playoff birth since 86

Sorry but I want no part of last season. Was a hell of a ride as it was going on but really I'm waiting for next year, it's something I truly feel I'll NEVER get over.

Why would I spend the money to watch a documentation on the 43rd best football team since the merger. Not worth it.

The 2007 New England Patriots will go down in league history as pulling off one of the greatest all-time choke jobs.

And, you want us to watch a commemorative DVD?

Jesus, I'm still throwing up in my mouth. 18-0 and the offense spits the bit, scoring a Baltimore Ravens-like 14 points.

It's a damn shame 35 seconds of football ruins one of the greatest seasons of all-time. :(
