spygate/videogate thing is going to hurt the Patriots and us, the fans. I believe that this douche bag Walsh DOES have some kind of video of the Rams walkthrough in 2001. As alot of these mediots have said "If he doesn't have a tape, he must have some serious mental problems to put his neck on the line like this and go to all of this trouble.... Now....whether BB instructed Walsh to tape that, or whether he had any knowledge of it....OR NOT.....is going to be IRRELEVANT....IT WILL NOT MATTER....... IF THERE IS A TAPE......regardless of what Goodell says, Belichick will be GUILTY.....Kraft will be guilty...The Patriots Dynasty will be erased....The great pats players over the past decade will be discredited....The Patriots SB's of 2001....2003......2004.....will all be asterisked.......and worst of all.....the Pats franchise will be tagged as "Cheaters" forever.....You know how much the stupid media and EVERY friggin fan of other teams HATES us and our team?.......Multiply this by millions because everytime you meet one of these Aholes....they are going to spout off "oh yeah, the Patriots.....cheated their way to the SB" etc etc......

I think we all need TO BRACE FOR THE WORST......this will NOT go away.......and more than likely we have to prepare for this scenario......

I am not trying to give a "sky is falling" post here.......but I can see the writing on the wall on this thing........if a tape is produced.....it is going to be a rotten time to be a Pats fan for years and years to come........F' Walsh and TomA$$e.........destroying the Pats legacy with this bullsh##!!!

I hear ya. Just take solice in the fact that the Pats will still be the best team next year, and as much as this spygate BS angers us, that fact will anger everyone else so much more.

If he does it was his own personal video and has never had anything to do with The Patriots who would not have sanctioned such useless video in the first place. And if he does have it that further proves it was his and not the Patriots video since it's in his possession and not the Patriots. Don't forget the so called "Spygate" was done in the full view of the opposing teams and everyone on the field. They never tried to hide anything.

As a NYer and Giants fan, I really don't care about this spygate. Digging up something that happened years ago won't change the results of the Super Bowl. Fact is, games are still won by the players on the field. If they didn't discover it back in 2001, then it's history. Sort of like the Clemens on steroids rumors surfacing now as if he wasn't tested for years throughout 1996 and on. It's impossible to prove and you can't gauge the impact after 5 yaers. It really angers me to hear this reaching Congress as if they don't have better things to do. Goodell should've dealt with Belichick harshly in the beginning of the season by suspending him instead of saying it was no big deal. The hatred for the Pats stem from feelings that Goodell gave the Pats a break because they were the Pats.

Of course fans will always use the spying just to prod Patriots fans much like Boston fans chanted "steroids" every time Sheff and Giambi came to the plate at Fenway. Spying is just poor sportsmanship. The NFL just need to make sure anyone who doesn't follow the rules gets mandatory suspensions and fines. Otherwise, it looks like certain teams and players get special treatment which only breeds resentment.

Is it really spying if it's being done on the sideline? Like, if we had placed bugs in the locker room, or had put a guy holding a timy camera in the stands, I could buy it.

Imagine if North Korea had a helicopter flying as close as it could to the White House with a video camera. They're not spying...they're doing something they shouldn't, but they're not spying. This is the same kind of deal.

I dont live in Boston at the moment either. I agree with you that it isnt easy. But you gotta suck it up!! I wear my Pats stuff loud and proud. I go to school in Eagles/Steelers country. Every week during football season for the last 3 years I have to go hold my own at the sports bar on sundays. But i could care less about who doesnt like my team or who does. Its my team and it will always be my team. Nothing will ever change that. Sorry. I dont lose sleep over what Eagles and Steelers fans think...or any other teams fans for that matter. Its gonna show up everywhere, because it gets ratings! I just change the channel...bc I sure as s*** am not going to help them out. People are always gonna hate on successful people, when they arent successful. The Pats are successful and the rest of the NFL isnt. Suck it up, stop letting it bother you. Relax...everything is fine. Jimmy Johnson and that article from the 60's really put this whole blown out of proportion "scandal" in perspective for me.

Look we're a family and we're stickin together thru thick and thin. Nothing will break us (BB, fans and the team), nothing. Let the jealousy, envy and hate rage on. It's just more coal being thrown into the Patriot steam engine with each and every garbage article that's put out there. After we draft Gholston and Rogers-Cromartie to add to our defense and ink up Randy the 19-0 quest begins yet again and we're the clear cut favorites. Let the booes rain down from the opposing stands, let's hear it. At this point, we're so battle tested, it just doesn't matter. I'm actually kind of liking it. Hating the greatness kind of makes me feel proud.

We're the biggest attraction and draw this league has even seen, does Goodell realize the kind of income and peaked interest our beloved Patriots have made for this league. Last year alone 3 of their games set television viewing records. I wonder if Goodell has given Bob Kraft his profit sharing bonus from it. The Pats are world-wide news, Colts fans can't get Tom Brady out of their heads, he's all they talk about out there in corn country, I think Tom is talked about even more than #18. Darth Vader we are. Let's embrace it for what it is.
