OT: Yankees Cheated

what is amazing to me is how new york fans always love to bash on the pats for this spygate, and never talk about how in 2003 jason giambi of the yankees admitted to using steroids, and he hit 2 HRs in game 7 of the ALCS to help them beat the red sox. where is the outrage about that? is that not also cheating? If the patriots are tainted, should the yankees not be tainted for having players on steroids in 2003 and 2000? 2000 Yankees had Clemens, Knoblauch, Justice, and Canseco all on the Mitchell Report. That all does not matter, but what does matter is the pats using a camera from an illegal spot, even thought they were not using that tape on gameday. WOW everything they have won means nothing! what a joke. If you say the Patriots should have an * then the 2000 yankees world series title should have one, as well as the yankees 2003 AL title.

I've been thinking about this issue for the past week.. how can the pats be called cheaters when the yankees have 3-4 players that admitted to cheating during their 4 year run of winning the world series..

This is the problem with M&M's like yourself. You can't think objectively. Maybe the Pats should give back their SuperBowl trophy's since Rodney was on the sauce? Nah... The Mitchell Report focused on two trainers. The trainer for the Met's and Yankees. Anyone with a couple of brain cells, which would be 2 more than you, understands that steroid and HGH use was rampant throughout the league. There is no way to know who was doing it, and who wasn't. Everyone is open to speculation. That doesn't in any way excuse those Yankees who sauced. What they did was gain an unfair advantage over those who didn't use PED's. However, to take their rings away is stupid. You simply don't know who else in the league was doing it. When 89 names come up from two trainers, my guess is there were lots more players than we ever thought.

His point is that you hear AD NAUSEUM from New YAWKAHS about the Pats cheating, spygate, Rodney, blah friggin' blah friggin' blah.. But nothing is written about the Yankees having 5 members of the 2000 team on drugs.. That's why you pointing out Rodney Harrison was stupid.. WE GET IT.. THE PATS CHEATED.. They've been fined and penalized for Spygate, and Harrison was suspended for HGH.. The Yankees?? Nothing.. One player out of 52 (Rodney), versus 5 out of 25 (Clemens, Canseco, Justice, Knoblauch, and Pettite).. So the Yankee fans and NY in general should STFU..
