Moss signs with the Jags

Stallworth signs with Dallas

Gaffney signs with washington

Samual signs with the Jets

Bruschi and Seau - retire

And our big free agent signing will be Marty Booker

This would probably be considered a sucky offseason..

Not saying this will happen, but could..

That would be terrible. After all, if that happened, New England would only be favored to win the Super Bowl by about a field goal.

Come on, relax......

Just a thought, its hypothetical, and after last off season when were given the super bowl, you will hear drive by media saying, the pats are dead again.. Not saying all that will happen mr happy

Moss will stay in New England. At this point in his career, why bounce around to other teams? Moss had a career year with Tom Brady but he would rather play with Garard? If the Pats pass on Stallworth, I think he may end up in Dallas. I think the Pats will try hard to retain Gaffney. I could care less about Samuel, the Jets will still suck. I really wanted Seau to win a ring. At his age, it's so hard to stay healthy and he did. But he lost out on a potential superbowl ring and graduate again. Booker as the Pats only signing would indeed suck.

But yeah, it could happen. And I wouldn't be surprised. Good teams get dismantled sooner or later.

1.) Who gives a rat's ass what the media says?

2.) Even in a "worst case scenario", where Gay, Moss, Stallworth, Samuel and Gaffney sign elsewhere and Bruschi and Seau both retire New England is set at

QB
RB
OL
TE
DL
OLB
S

That leaves getting 1-2 ILBs and 2-3 DBs and say 2 WR. Now, at wide receiver, we've seen Tom Brady take a 1/2 combo of Caldwell and Gaffney to the AFCCG, so it's pretty clear that greatness is wanted, but not needed, at the WR spot.
Furthermore, and it's not as if there won't be any to 'lesser' ILBs, DBs or WRs to choose from in free agency. Then, there's the draft. The team has the #7 pick, their own picks in each round and the Raiders pick in the 3rd round. Even the doomsday scenario isn't all that bad. It's not worth panicking about in February, that's for sure.

Did you take a time machine back to March 2006 or something?

We're fine. Relax.

Ok, well lets talk about what matters. What matters is that in this dynasty thats been happening for 7 years now...we had our most talented team year 7...that says a lot. Thats almost an impossible thing to achieve. But we've done it. As long as we continue to have Krafty, BB, TB, SP involved...its gonna stay that way. period. :D

Dateline, Foxboro: Sky Falls!

News at 11.

We can all cross that bridge when we come to it. Thus far, this is our millenium. I know the media seem dead set on not letting us enjoy it, but screw that.

To summarize if all of the bad things that could happen do, then that would be bad.

You left out "Belichick is suspended for a year and Pioli goes to Miami."

Why stop there?

Brady retires to move to Hollywood to become an actor and be near his son.

Seymour is traded to the Jets for Mike Nugent and a conditional draft pick.

Vrabel suffers a season-ending injury.

Warren retires to work on his rap career.

Colvin is cut.

Wilfork holds out for the season.

Belichick signs Duane Starks and Monty Beisel as free agents.

Belichick is suspened for life by Goodell.

Kraft hires Rich Kotite to be GM/Coach.

Kotite hires Rod Rust as Assistant Head Coach.

Kraft sells the team and the new owner moves them to Los Angeles.

Gillette stadium becomes home to the New England Patriettes of the fledgling American Field Hockey League.

The lobsters disappear from the North Atlantic Ocean

Huh, how are the Patriettes dressed in this scenario?

The sky is falling then.

Im not bringing up spygate again, but you have to keep the Belichick senerio in the back of your mind..

Also I do think they will resign moss, but the not franchising of him, does have to but a little, very little seed of doubt..

Remember, we felt Vinateri was a lock to come back as well, some felt he had a deal locked up with the pats.. Just saying..
