NEW CHARGES OF CHEATING EMERGE AGAINST THE PATRIOTS... DEVELOPING...

Re: Is "Drudge" drudging?

But what are the "new" charges?

How about you read the article and find out?

As I said "standard hack crap".

Meaning standard NY Times fare--pick up all the old stuff and present it as new because obviously it's never been covered before until they cover it.

There's none, it's just two overzealous Times reporters thinking they're uncovering something new. They're not. We know this to be true.

It's "new" to incompetent NY Times writers (redundant, I know) who don't understand that the original punishment covers ALL signal filming.

Umm...that's what I said.

Re: Is "Drudge" drudging?

Again, people have trouble comprehending. Not you guys. The media.

Belichick told Goodall about all the taping he's done. We assume he told the truth. Goodall said the tapes just had stuff from 2006 on. Those two statements DO NOT mean that Belichick said he started taping in 2006. He likely told Goodall he's been doing it all along and re-used tapes when the analysis was done.

For some reason, people have decided that the fact that Goodall said the tapes were from no earlier than 2006 means that any taping prior to 2006 is "new allegations against Belichick". However it's not, assuming that Belichick really did tell Goodall everything.

Ordway, who we know has some inside connection to the Pats said that he was told they don't keep the tapes for more than a couple years. The Pats tape over after a few years. So we have been taping since 2000, but only had actual tapes that went back to 2006.

More Media idiocy

How is any of this "NEW" or "Breaking News"

There is not one new item in the story

the BS the media pours out on a daily basis is overwhelming

Re: Is "Drudge" drudging?

When the defensive play call is deciphered, the Patriots could call a play to counteract. This would lead to a sizable advantage.

Unless the opposing team was really smart and changed the signals.

I forgot to mention nice spygate thread # 1,456

A steel enema for Brady? I'm telling you a lot of Patriot haters out there sure do have some bizarre homosexual fantasies involving Brady.

Re: Is "Drudge" drudging?

It could be Arlen Specter clearing his entire busy Senate schedule to investigate the rumor that the Sam Adams beer from the kiosk near section 130 at Gillette Stadium appeared to be watered down during the 3rd quarter of the January 2008 Patriots / Jacksonville playoff game. Apparently, a fired employee who was working the beer stand, has cell phone photos of the entire operation that he will make available to Specter. In addition, the un-named employee has a taped cell phone conversation taken at halftime of that game whereby Patriots Head coach Bill Belichick is heard giving this employee precise instructions on adding water to the beer kegs, in direct violation of NFL and Federal guidelines. More to follow.

Your stupidity is showing. Your count is way off.

Can you be my life coach Felger?

I feel warm and fuzzy with your self esteem comments.

Let go of the anger

A hack title to a story that is bringing the story up to date from the beginning of this month ... freaking wankers.

As far as I can see there are no new allegations in that article?

Questions still linger about how much of an advantage the Patriots may have had if they intercepted defensive signals. Under Belichick, the Patriots have often run a no-huddle offense, which forces opponents to quickly call a defensive play. N.F.L. rules allow quarterbacks to hear instructions from coaches — through a headset and into a speaker in the quarterback’s helmet — until there are 15 seconds left on a play clock.

Thats some BS right there, when the offense is in a no huddle the coach to quaterback headset is shutoff!

And as far as I understand the object of taping the signals isn't so BB can use them against whatever team they are playing (their going to change the signals anyways), but its to help get an idea of what plays the coaches are calling and build a profile of the coaches.

This is going to be a long offseason.
