I have no respect for them. I've seen at least 2 kids in my high school wear Patriots stuff the week before the Super Bowl, and then Giants stuff a week later.
I dont hate Giants fans, (well, some are pretty dumb and say that the Patriots suck) but I have no respect for Fairweather Fans. Giants fans, how many "newly-converted" fans do you have?
To be fair, lots of people were wearing Eagles stuff in my school in the 2004 SB, and then Patriots stuff after we won.
So yeah...lets just chill and talk about these types of fans...

Really? That's a bit beyond fairweather fanhood. But I guess kids are just idiots. :D

What ever happened to those legions of Rams fans, anyways? Remember when you couldn't throw a rock without hitting one?

I'm still looking for Niners Fans...seen any lately?

Not too many Niners fans anymore are there?

How about them Broncos? Or those Packers (although they are turning up a little more these days aren't they)

Yeah, I know, there are a lot of Packers fans... a friend of mine "switched" to the Packers after the Spygate thing, now he says that "the Packers ARE football" and "they would never do such a thing." Ah, we dont need him. He thinks the Patriots are the first and only team to ever do such a thing.
He probably chose the Packers cuz of Vince Lombardi. He's a Red Sox fan, though...

And theres a Broncos fan in my school...

I could care less about bandwagon fans....although I will agree if your switching your team after a SB win or loss, I dont think your much of a football fan in general. That kind of indicates that it is just someone who wants to look cool and feel a part of something by going with the winning "in" team. Trust me there are plenty of Pats bandwagon fans...I go to school in PA and Ive had to go to a sports bar for all the games that are not nationally televised. For the past 3 years ( I transferred from a school in Boston after my freshman year ), I'm still the only Pats fan there for the first game of the season...and the 2nd, and 3rd....and pretty much all the way up until the end of the season. I used to get annoyed bc after 2 minutes of talking to any of the few "pats fans" that show up toward the end of the season, its obvious they know nothing about the Patriots and usually nothing about football. I started talking to one guy this season during the Steelers game and I asked his opinion on our secondary and he actually said..."yeah our secondary is the best because we now have Moss and Brady." When I informed him that I meant the "other" secondary...( LOL ) he couldnt name one def. player for us other than Richard Seymour. That annoyed me. Bc this guy obviously didnt even know football basics and someone who shouldnt be prancing around in a NE jersey at a PIT vs NE game at a bar in PA.
But other than that, Ive gotten over it and I'm more happy that theyre rooting for the Pats then against them.:D

lol Tell me about it. I'm from IL and the second I see anyone wearing anything Pats (other than myself of course) I'm shocked but its a good shocked. Ill take a bandwagon fan if it means they can hear me talk about the Pats for as long as I want, seeing as my friends don't wanna hear it (of course, the guy you met might be the exception :D ) . They already know not to get me started. Living on campus everyone's big on college sports, but ill take the NFL over all that any day. Being outside of NE is like being behind enemy lines..tho IL is not hostile to patsfans! I just don't know any true Pats fans, so this is my only outlet to talk patriots football and it's such a relief to know that I'm not the only one that's obsessed with them! especially now with all the haters uniting...

lol Aww thanks, but you're the one with the whole collection idea! I got to give u credit for that one, that was hilarious (my fave was "glassy eyed lt"). :D And yes we should, but let's wait and see what new figurines we can add to this line when season '08 comes up. What week do we play the Chargers? I feel like we'll have a whole new line for that game alone...maybe a buy one get one free rivers figurine sitting on his own bench since lt left in disgust...hmmm could work...
