It's easy, and only takes a few moments.dose any one think jake long OT from michigan will still be there at #7 i think it would be great to add him to 3 pro bowl OL he would fit in at right T and i think that would make brady heppy to
J Long and McFadden are the only two guys in this draft that I see that can come in and start from day one. He would be a huge upgrade over Kazcur.
Maybe the Chiefs can solve their OL problems via FA.
I'm starting to beleive that the Pats will have no suitors for that #1 draft pick (unless they trade it staight up for a proven player already).
What about Ryan Clady from Boise St. The more I think about the draft, I'm starting to beleive that the Pats will have no suitors for that #1 draft pick (unless they trade it staight up for a proven player already). I have seen a coupe of mock drafts that have us picking Clady and there reasoning is starting to make me think that it is more than just a possibility. We would have to agree that he would be an immediate upgrade at RT.
I would pass on him for one reason...too many can't miss OL in the top 10 that have not panned out in the pro's.
We need defense more anyway.
I would take either Long (Jake or Chris) if they are there at #7.
I have a feeling they will both be gone and we will be fielding calls from
teams wanting to move up to draft Matt Ryan at #7.
If Ryan is available at #7, you have to think that Chicago needs to get in front of Baltimore to get to Ryan first.
Which raises an interesting point: let's say Ryan is still available at #6. At that point, in theory Baltimore could try to trade up with the JEST, to avoid the possibility of Chicago taking him at #7. But then that puts the JEST in an interesting spot: do they stay where they are, and try to screw the Pats, or do they take the trade, and risk getting screwed by the Pats?
To be honest, I don't think the question is whether or not the Pats will get offers for the pick--I am certain they will. The question will be if they find an offer they like.
