I lived in the Bay Area all my life and thought Joe Montana was the greatest QB of all time, but you need to check some stats on these guy's. Tom Brady (If he has his health) will break of bunch of QB records and have 4 or more SB's when his career is done.

For me, it's not all about the stats, it's about being a legend. Joe was MVP in SuperBowl 24 and broke all kind of records in the 55-10 route. But that's not what made Joe the best. He is considered a legend for what he did a year earlier in SB23. Down by 3 with 3 minutes left, he drove the team down field and scored the winning TD with :34 left on the clock. No bull**** field goal. As I have said here before, Joe had the guts to "bet it all" when it counted most. That may not show up in the stats, but thats what it's all about!

Brady was mouthy on the sidelines for sure - especially in the 3rd Qtr. After the 3 qtr opening drive, Brady was going pretty ballastic on the sidelines as reported by people in the stands from a few blogs I have visited. After that or before that, I have no idea, but I did clearly see him yapping a bit in the first half.

How much energy can one person have in the course of a 60 minute game? Don't you think sometimes we ask too much of Tom Brady? He's the leader, he suppose to be yelling at the OL, getting the WR's to run the right routes, keeping the game plan together, not panic when getting pounded to the ground on nearly every drop back.

This loss was heartbreaking, what makes it heartbreaking is that Tom Brady's legacy was just seconds away from being off the charts. If our defense held the Giants on that last drive, as they should have, Brady after getting the crap knocked out of him during most of the game, still managed to march the offense down the field 80 yards going 8 for 11 for what would have been another 4th Qtr game winning drive in the Superbowl - his 3rd. That is what makes me absolutely sick. God knows how Tom Brady deals with what happened on that last Giants drive-was he standing there with McDaniels yelling at Astante for the non-pick, of Seymour or Green or Harrison for not knocking the ball out, doubtful. I know I am not dealing well. I never will. What could have, what should have been will linger in my mind forever!

I think the Giants are the biggest fraud in the NFL. You will see, their season was a fluke. The following week, that ***hole Matt Walsh comes out of nowhere and claims to have tapes of the Pats videotaping the Rams walkthrough before the superbowl. Just when we though spygate was dead, Matt Walsh wanted his 15 minutes of fame. Then to put the icing on the cake, that douchebag Arlen Spector wants in on it and demands to speak to Tom Brady, Bill Belicheck and Roger Goddell. The pattern here is that the Giants played two out of three teams at the right time. Next season when the Giants are lucky to make the playoffs again and exit in the first round, will make this superbowl loss more easy to swallow. Whether Strahan retires or not, the NFL talking heads will come down on the Giants claiming them to be a fluke. Manning's pass to David Tyree will never happen again! The Giants are a fluke. Write that down.

Fluke.That is what I have been saying since the devasting loss. It doesn't make me feel any better but it has shut up a few giants fans. Those that don't shut up there have than been faced with admiting to me that they believe the Patriots have a better chance of returning to the Super Bowl next year.

Agreed.
If the Pats bounce back and win another ring in the next 2 years it will really make the dynasty that much more impressive, but if they start to fade out, the effects of the past 2 losses will never be overlooked.
In 2006, the Pats overachieved to a degree, then imho, were screwed by one of the worst officiating jobs I'd ever seen.
This time, the blame is squarely on the shoulders of the team/coaching staff.
