Can Patriots go undefeated and return to Super Bowl?

UGHHH...please no more talk about "perfection"....What would you do if they went 16-0 only to fall in the superbowl again?:bricks:

I want 19-0. No, strike that. I want 37-1, 2007-2008. :rocker:

I don't know if my heart can put up with the stress of another season like last one!

They can, but it's unlikely.

I fully expect them to get back to the big one, but I could give two ****s what their record is.

No thanks. I just want the team to win enough games to qualify for the playoffs and win the division. Someone else can take on the stress of perfection.

19-0. We have unfinished buisness.

Take from them all, and give to them nothing.

19-0, hell yeah. That is where we stand, where they die.

It's definitely possible....gonna happen? Not sure, but i will be rooting for it. All my stress will be lifted, knowing that the 72 fins team will be going though a million times that stress of mine...i dont think they'd survive the second time around...:D

Good God. After BB's Globe article, I feel like everything is right again. We lost the Super Bowl...it's ok. It will make it that much more sweet this coming year when we break all of our own records on the way to winning it.

Yes, 19-0, here we come! :rocker:

Could you imagine Mercury Morris if we got to 18-0 again? His head would literally explode.

From all the crack he would be doing, of course.

Yes.

Even if 19-0 itself was not a reasonable goal to set out for this past year, the response of the media, opposing teams and fans of opposing teams has made 19-0 a do-or-die mission at this point.

The difference between this past season and next is that no one knew if it could be done and the Pats had to contend with the pressure of the unknown in doing it. This year everyone knows it's possible and the Pats will be fueled by the need to see it to completion and a rage at the hate thrown at them from the rest of the world.

To turn the phrase around, the league finally has its blueprint for beating the Pats, but the Pats now have their blueprint for beating the entire league.

If McFadden falls into their lap at #7 ... I don't see why not.

When did McFadden become a right tackle, shutdown cornerback or inside linebacker?

Can we please stow the undefeated crap?

I don't think it helped us last year.

Think outside the box ... like Bill does and don't reach ... like Bill doesn't.

Think "Brady is my meal ticket for another 5+ years" like Bill does and don't draft players you don't need if there's other excellent talent available at a needed position ... like Bill doesn't.

I don't see the Pats going 16-0 this coming year, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did, either. I think the Pats had a few breaks last year on the way to 18-0, and had a few go the other way in the SuperBowl.

I'd gladly have the situation reverse itself this year and have a couple of unlucky regular season losses followed by a victory in the Big Game.
