Hes done of the better TE in the league. I wonder if it could be injury related? Anyways I think the Pats should at least inquire about him. Hes a defenet upgrade.

Very surprised he was cut.

Ask: Dimitroff, who presumably will have a similar philosophy to our guys here, cuts him. Why? There has to be some issue.

Saying, let's go get him, considering our cap situation, the fact we already have 4 TEs on the roster, and that someone our guys taught cut him seeming for some unknown reason is enough of a yellow-flag for me.

I wonder if he was too close to Michael Vick.

Crumpler will probably see a lot more interest from other teams than some of the other recent castoffs, meaning his price will be pushed higher. So I think this is one that seems less likely.

Alge Crumpler is 100 times the player Ben Watson will NEVER be. I will be shocked if we didn't pursue him knowing how BB love TE's.

Watson is more than adequate for the offence we ranl ast year. Big RZ threat and athletic, not to mention more than cap friendly at the moment.

Our cap situation?

We are in pretty good shape. We have between 8-10 mil in available space not including what could be freed up by not excercising Stalworths option, by restructuring guys like Colvin, Brady, and others.

consider that some NFL teams are actually over the cap right now we are ok.

consider that some NFL teams are actually over the cap right now we are ok.

It's ok, but we have other needs that we don't need to go play fantasy football at positions that aren't needs.

I dont know with the roster we have sometimes it feels like we are making a fantasy team...bring back Moss, Asante, Seau, Bruschi, Ect.... and sign up one or two really good players. And I think TE actually has some room for talent.

Seriously though If you bring back Moss there really isnt much room in any other position on offense for improvement.
