The only mistake you made was to draw conclusions that projected into the future. I don't think you were wrong in pointing out that his play was lacking "confidence", as Brady put it. To project that this means something that cannot be fixed is the only problem I saw with your posts.

But you stood up like a real man and owned it, anyway.

I don't think Maroney is lacking anything right now. He has the complete game, which is unusual for a young guy. If you want somebody to power it and knock heads, he can do it. If you want that cut back for 20 yards he can do it. He can catch and run. He can return kickoffs. He's a good kid. There is nothing about him that isn't firing right now.

Earlier I thought that Morris was the starter next year but now I'm not sure of that at all. All I know is that the offense is going to be even better with both of them.

I think McDaniels really has figured out how to best use Maroney. They aren't running him straight up the gut nearly as much anymore. He just seems far more comfortable running outside more. Even when he runs into a brick wall, he seems to be able to either pund his way through or bounce off the pile more than whe he is running inside the tackle or the guard.

Maroney has the potential of being an elite back next year if he continues this progress.

If beli and co where infact taping teams dating all the way back since Beli started to coach this team , our sb's are tainted. Now I know this is hard to accept. I know that a lot of people do it. But until another team is busted for the same thing , or some type of real proof comes out that this was a leauge wide issue , we are going to be looked at as cheats. Nothing will change that.

Frankly I would be a bit mad with Belichick for not keeping this whole thing under control.This is a big if of course. This whole thing could go away tommorow. But let's face the facts people , we will be called tainted cheats forever if Spectors allegations are proven true.


I would be ashamed. If this was the colts who did this you would all be screaming cheaters at every chance. This is a tough pill to swallow. I have been a season ticket holder for a long time. I love the pat's. Just calling it like it is. All the excuse makers and homer's will freak out over this post. But you all know you are scared as hell for these latest allegations to be proven true.
