Pats Booed at Pro Bowl

Gee... I wonder why? Maybe they wanted to see Brady and Moss play? Yeah... that's it.

I feel like I root for the 70s Raiders now.

How can you not love this?

Vrabes hit it spot on.

Mike Vrabel said:
What's written about and talked about on TV, that's the only way the fans can formulate an opinion.

The Pats are the evil empire as far as other fans are concerned.

I "love" it when we're holding the Lombardi. Just feels weird to be pulling for the most hated team in sports when nobody gave a care about them 15 years ago.

NFL Patriots= MLB Yankees... as far as the media is concerned.

The only thing that would have been better would have been if none of the Pats
that were selected bothered to play in this stupid and meaningless exhibition game.

THAT'S what I'm talking about!

We are the baddest mutha-****as in the jungle, Super Bowl loss or no Super Bowl loss!

I actually had one of my daughter's soccer teammates tell me Eli Manning is cute!

That in-bred, redneck, white-trash punk is now officially cuter than Brady!

The 15-year old girls of the nation have even turned!

Excellent: Give me a dissed Pats team for 2008 and let's see what happens!

That is absolutely shocking! No not shocking that the Pats were booed, but the fact that there were people in the stands at the Pro Bowl to boo them. I never thought I'd see the day.

In a geeky sort of way perhaps:

Good point. It will not surprise me if Patriot players boycott the event in the future.

Awesome!!! :rocker: STILL loving the hate!
So much more fun wearing the black hat.
See all those yawns for Peyton?? Much better to be booed than bored. ;)

Anyone who wastes money on pro bowl tickets has a worthless opinion.

That's because they're "classy" and the Pats aren't. You see by booing they were reacting in their usual "classy" way to the Pats' lack of "ClaSS"!

The only thing that kills me is Wilfork saying that people hate you when you're on "top" - um, Vince, we haven't been on top for 3 years. We've flirted with it a little, but fans hate us for an entirely different reason. Players weren't getting booed in 2004.

I "love" it when we're holding the Lombardi.

31 teams don't win the Lombardi trophy every year, often including the best team of the year.

If you can't enjoy your team unless they win it all, you're a **** fan.

Because then no one would see them as arrogant and high-and-mighty. It may be a meaningless game, but it's too bad that it's not seen as an honor anymore.

Football is just too brutal of a sport to have a meaningful all-star game. I mean... no blitzing? Why are people supposed to care?

I'm surprised they even play the game at all.

There are interesting ideas to make the game more meaningful (give home field choice in the Super Bowl to the winner?), but is that really what we want? What happens when a great player gets hurt in the game?

Yo T, ease up. I meant that when you don't win it all and your team is as hated as ours, it's a victory for 31 other fanbases and all the haters out there.
