"How does Bill Belichick enforce discipline on his team after providing such a bad example? Forget the perpetual wardrobe malfunctions and the utter lack of grace behind a microphone. Those are superficialities, irrelevant to the game or respect for the people in it. But walking off the field at the Super Bowl with time left on the clock and a play, however meaningless, remaining? It was about 100 times as disgraceful as the time Randy Moss left the Vikings' sideline early in a regular-season game a few years ago. Belichick has said that he didn't realize there was time left and that it didn't matter because he had congratulated Coughlin on the Giants' win and the final play was pointless. Well, enough players understood what they had to do, and ended the premature celebration so that they could line up and watch the Giants take a knee. How did the coach not figure it out? It's his job to know where the clock stands. The NFL needs to mandate suspensions for these things, a game for a player, four for a coach. There's no way to punish Belichick now, but would it really kill him to apologize? There are plenty of world-class hospitals in Boston; he could do it in one of their cardiac units, just in case.

It all depends on your definition of cheating. If breaking the rules is cheating, then yes, he cheated. In much the same way that anyone who has ever gone 60 in a 45 is a criminal. There's a difference between committing a procedural infraction and cheating, and if you can't understand it then you're probably an idiot or a troll.

Just like Holding is breaking the rules. They could call holding on every down if they wanted. Its a rule, not a criminal act. In fact getting away with a hold in a crucial time of a play or a game could have more of an impact on any given sunday. These are rules to a Game, god people act like he went out and destroyed the tapes to the JFK assasination. His penalty wasnt 10 yards because it was a coaching thing and a pissing contest between owners.

There are tons of HOFers that did shady stuff in thier day. Linemen stepping on each other with steel cleats, pokeing each other in the eyes in the scrum. But not today, bunch of tree hugging PC idiots running around today, its not fair, he hurt my feelings. I think he saw something he shouldnt have, good god, please. How about step up and say I lost because I lost. Simple as that.
