LOL! They hired him to be the OC pretty much because he knew how to run Fassel's offense. I guess Fassel turned them down and Steve Spagnuolo basically was a long shot to begin with since they tried to build a coaching staff for Fassel, they had no choice but to promote Zorn.

IF this is true.....they must all be weaping in their crimson and yellow crying towels......Jim Zorn? Liked him from what I have seen as a person (had a friend of mine from Seattle that knew him well and said he was a great guy and did alot for community).....He was a ok QB....always loved that he played lefty and I always pulled for him.......but.....AS A HEAD COACH of one of the most obnoxious,stressful, and demanding fan bases and owners in the history of the NFL......I would be shocked to see him being chosen......and by Snyder?

Foreskin fans can not be happy if this is in fact really going to happen.....Their team is going to go backwards for the next few years due to salary cap issues anyways,......this takes them further backwards.......

Yeah...isn't that wild Bellachick? I didn't even hear his name being mentioned......I was thinking it was going to be Fassel which made some sense because I thought he got the "bums rush" out of New York....and then they talked about Spagnola......because he was "Going to Disney World!"..The bastard.........Anyways.....Jim Zorn being appointed can not bode well for The skins.......although who knows.....maybe he will be the next great coach........I just don't see it..........

Does anyone else find this absolutely pathetic? How in the hell do you hire a guy to be your OC and then fail soooo badly in hiring a head coach and then you are pretty much forced to promote the OC. And people ask themselves why our organization gets laughed at every day. Snyder is a freaking bafoon.

What happened to Mariucchi, or however you spell it? Or what was wrong with Gregg Williams? I know he struck out in Buffalo, but everyone since Marv Levy have failed to turn Buffalo around.

Sometimes I think they might as well have kept Steve Spurrier. It was fun watching a parade of Florida players show up in DC.

They're just not happy they're ecstatic! They have a poll on there and 80% think this was a great choice. But now that they promoted their OC to HC who will be the OC? My money is on the equipment manager.

They must be delusional....there wasn't a chemical spill in the DC area was there? How can you get fired up about and UNKNOWN like Jim Zorn......Now if it was Fassel (who I thought was better than the NY press gave him credit for) or Mooch i could see some excitement......I don't get this one at all.......Maybe they are on the Patriots kool aid?

As soon as Gregg Williams was fired, I ass-u-med that the Skins were waiting to interview/hire Steve Spagnuolo immediately after the SB. He would have been a good HC for them, and his departure would have weakened the jints at the same time.

I wonder, how did Danny the poor little rich boy and his incompetent stooge Vinnie Cerrato eff up this one? Did their hiring of the OC and DC before the HC convince Spags that this was a job to be avoided, even if the $$ was almost unavoidable?
