so i finally did it
i broke down and cried, i think im finally out of the denial stage
five stages discussed in further detail:

i broke down while watching fitzys we blew it webcast:

while i had shown some signs of anger (like when i punched a boston herald newsstand that had "19 steps to perfection" originally on it but was written over with "18 steps to perfection"), or bargaining like when i kept thinkin back and saying "okay if moss elevates and catches that third down throw, we call a timeout, maybe we had time for one heave to the endzone, and if that fails, we kick a field goal and go to the first ot in sb history...", or depression like when i couldnt speak or move after the game for about an hour (flashback to when i was twelve years old watching brett favre celebrate sb 31, and that fat ass mike holmgren being carried off the field), maybe this cry finally finally got me completely out of the stage one of denial

although, sometimes ignorance is bliss, the reality of what happened isnt exactly a welcoming though. but, it's something we all must face

Good for you. Whatever you need to do to get yourself ready for '08....The Pats will be back! :) Just focus on all the blessings we have as fans (bc we have a lot to be thankful for and much more to come)!

Here's the deal.

As a fan, I am a millionaire. Of course, I'm not really - I make less than 10% - but 3 SB in 7 years is millionaire status as a fan. I would love to make $10M. Or $50M. That's what winning more SB would have been. And I guess it sucks that I'm not. But as a Patriots fan I have experience what few NFL fans have experienced - the fan equivalent of making $1M a year. And I can live with that quite easily, thank you very much.

I must be in Stage 4 - Depression

Man, I still feel like shyt.

I've tempted to post again, this is my first try...........................

Hey look on the bright side at least people got to vote on Super Tuesday instead of the parade route cutting people off from getting to their voting districts. :D

I'm doing a little better as well. If I could just get the image of what those 19-0 Super Bowl hats looked like........

I think Fitzy summed it up saying this on the chin. I've just suffered but now I'm doing alright. It hurts, always will but the ship's gotta sail right?

agreed, we are ridiculously spoiled
but it wasnt all about just winning another sb, if it was it wouldnt hurt so bad
this was about being imortalized by going perfect
