Was last night at Foxwoods.

I work part time in the Ice Scultping buisness and Was called in to work last night to deliver a big job at foxwoods. It wasn't untill I got to work when I realized it was for the Patriots.

while setting up I saw asante samuel, Donte Stalworth, Elis hobbs, Randel Gay, Rosie Colvin and Eugene Wilson

Did anyone go to the party?

there was a long line for people to get in.

Probably was mistaken about Asante, since he is suppose to be in hawaii

If you saw Asante it must have been his good twin, cause the evil one is at the pro bowl all week...

Next time the Pats come to CT someone post it before it happens, upset I missed this. :(

Was this the "may not be a Patriot much longer" party?

Gaffney gets around. I saw him up here in NH at 3:00 today. He was leaving a scheduled signing I didn't know about, but happened to be in the right place at the right time. I felt like a groupie in my grey hoodie, as even the clerks at the jewelry stores were sporting jerseys.

All the players should have worn grey hoodies to the event.

Interesting that Willie "I sure hope he don't smoke it no more" Andrews was there.

I was at the event last night, it was invite only for certain people who have Foxwoods cards, and my friend was gracious enough to let me & my girlfriend get his arm bands while he went and gambled (he won $1,000 at the roulette table while we were in the event). I wanted to post a topic on this, but the new rule is 50 posts to post a new topic, thanks to trolls, so I couldn't even give people a heads up about it.

The Patriots on hand were:
Kevin Faulk, Jabar Gaffney, Ellis Hobbs, Rosevelt Colvin, Laurence Maroney, Antwain Spann, James Sanders, Eugene Wilson, Donte Stallworth, Willie Andrews, Randall Gay & Ellis Hobbs.

there was a ton of food, open bar, and they gave away a bunch of signed stuff. The event was awesome, it really took the sting off of the Super Bowl being able to be there with a bunch of the players having fun and celebrating what really was an amazing season..

We didn't get a ton of pictures, but here are a few:

No, I didn't get a chance to get anything signed, and we didn't win any of the memorabilia. From what I heard they went to one of the clubs inside the casino after the event and signed some stuff, but it was a mob scene.

i'm glad that folks had a good time, but from reading the linked article, it sounds to me like a Foxwood promotion for Casino high rollers, with Foxwood paying appearance money to the 20 pats who were there, eight of whom stepped out from the paid event to meet the real fans.

Not the case at all. My friend who gave us his "passes" is a 22 year old who goes to the casino about 4 times a year, and spends about $500 each trip, I would hardly call him a high roller. Anyone who is a card holder got the invite, but they only took 500 (1,000 with additional guest) reservations. About 90% of the crowd were Patriot fans, who most likely had casino cards, or got the passes from friends like we did.
