Watching the freakin' Pro Bowl. I would not watch that game for $17,500.

Well, I'd watch it if they paid me. But that's the only way I'd watch it :)

Yeah, I won't be watching.

It's time for me to actually do something else on a Sunday besides sit in front of the TV.

It's also going to be a long time before a Sunday can roll around and I WON't be thinking, "Wow, it's been [fill in the blank] weeks since that horrible Superbowl." Yuck. I dread the coming Sundays.

In the pre cable and dish TV days the Pro Bowl was so cool to watch .. now it's like whatever ... no big deal.

They should take the bottom 2 teams and have 1 game to determine the #1 pick instead ... you win the game and you get the pick .. now people would watch that for sure ... bunch of lousy players playing like Pro Bowlers.

In a couple of weeks NASCAR starts. That'll keep me outta trouble for a bit.

Here's a bum burner for you.....I was at the gym, and they had ESPN on the TV directly in front of me, and I have become very conditioned to when they are going to a story about the Giants, or the Patriots collapse, I simply look away......then, Sal Palantoniopenis comes on......and starts talking about the Pro Bowl......"Oh" I think, "this can't be too bad.....they will most likely be talking to all the players and it will be kind of a fun event".......WRONG!

They start off by interviewing Logan Mankins and he talks about cutting his beard off on the bus leaving the Arizona stadium after the game....and how he hacked at it.....and Matt "the turnstile" Light helped.......and I noted how they were laughing about the whole experience and that they were laughing about it while cutting his beard off on the bus.......and I thought of how I haven't even been able to attempt a smile since the Pats let that game slip away from them........(Is it possible that the Pats FANS took this game more SERIOUSLY than the players?)...........and then Palantoniopenis comes back on and comments how the Patriots have 3 offensive lineman in the pro bowl this year.....But the Gints only have ONE DEFENSIVE lineman (Osi Umen****ya).........So, Sal Pauses a second and says "Well with the Patriots having THREE offensive lineman and only Osi playing for the defense, hopefully they can TRIPLE team him this time around and stop him"........and my stomach which has stopped churning acid....started bubbling like Mount Vesuvious!!!!

All these pricks love piling it on.....They will get what is coming to them someday......

On some Nascar Broadcast today one of the announcers went

"You're as much fun to hang out with as Bill Belichick."

Random, but seeing Nascar reminded me of the little mention.

The pro bowl is awful the only thing worth watching in it is the skills competitions that they used to have I dont know if they still do.

Honestly, if you get NBC tomorrow, there is a good hockey game on, the Anaheim Ducks vs the Detroit Red Wings, rematch of the Western Conference Finals from last year which was a great series. I am watching that over that joke of a pro bowl.

Is it possible that the Pats FANS took this game more SERIOUSLY than the players

I have been wondering this myself. Maybe we're the crazy kooky nuts in all this...

Seems strange doesn't it. We're all moping around like someone died and the players are screwing around in nice warm places like Giselle and Hawaii, I want to see some real remorse, more so, a real explanation for what went wrong. And I'm not talking about the generic "we just got outplayed".

So the second most depressing Sunday of the year is always the one after your team’s final game. (Only if ending in a loss)

This is that Sunday.

I think the players do take it seriously but . . . when you have between $1M and $20M in the bank I imagine it's easy to get over fairly fast.

They get paid to play the game and wear the Patriots uniform.

We pay to watch the game and wear the Patriots uniform.

I'll watch it cuz its football. For some reason, I'm more of a Patriots fan because of the Super Bowl...no more superstition, no more going downstairs when they do bad, Im sticking by the Pats the whole way through...however, If any Pats on the O-Line do good in the PB, Ill be PISSED!!!

Watch the Celtics in about 1 and 1/2 hours.

i would watch if, if we were 19-0 and brady and moss was playing, but i can't stand to watch peyton play

Tom and moss wouldnt play anyway, its a pointless game that, if they get hurt in, would be for nothing. Some people are calling him Tom Fraidy because of it, but they're idiots.
