He's an idiot. We all know "what they did" - they've won too much. Fans, owners and players are jealous and didn't want to see a 4th SB and 19-0.

It's true, it's based way too much on name recognition. But I think the Patriots are beneficiaries of it, especially this year. If the Pro Bowl selections were made now, there would be some major changes I'm sure. But seriously, the guy should enjoy it while he still can. No harm in that.

All this hate will be turned back on the league next season. My Uncle (God rest his soul) had a saying, "LAUGH NOW, CRY LATER".
People like to beat people down especially when they are at their lowest. It's human nature. When they are on top, No one has anything to say.

It will be really sweet to shut everybody up next year by winning the Super Bowl, 19-0 or not (and probably not).

The mental focus to put this all behind you is a huge task, but if anybody can do it, this group can, one week at a time.

I could care less about 19-0 next, didn't really this year. If it's able to be achieved so be it. We don't need it to win the Super Bowl.

It's really pretty pathetic. I don't bother watching NFLN much any more because what they do with their pro bowl coverage is a microcosim of what is wrong with the marketing of professional sports. I call it the Ocho Cinco-sizing of the NFL.

The other night Eisen opened a cutsey sit down with TO and Romo by breathlessly congratulating them on a terriffic season. To which they both beamed...TO said the difference was Wade - he lets them have live DJ's at practice and that makes it fun. They even replayed TO's sobbing post game defense of his QB, which Romo said really touched him and proved to him how much his teamate cares. It's like a male soap opera. Players who crack each other up doing unintelligible interviews. Nobody dares ask anyone why they lost. Although I would imagine that is the #1 question being asked of Pat's players this week.

Not sure how Osi is a sore winner for saying the pro bowlers wanted the Pats to lose. Honestly, if were a Pat fan I'd take it as a compliment. Here in NY the Yankees are either loved or hated. I for one HATE them as a Met fan. But the bottom line is they are hated bacause they are THAT GOOD. The same applies to the Pats. In fact they are a classy team as the Yankees were. But when you are good, people are gonna hate you, I guarentee next year the Giants will not be the NFL's darlings.
