If Stallworth is gone and Moss re-signs, can he change to #18 in 2008?

Just wondering if Donte is gone and Randy stays,can Moss take over the #18 he wore for a few of his earlier years and probably the # he prefers or is he stuck at that #81 number permanently as long as he is playing for the same team?

He only wore 18 for two years in Oakland. He was 84 in Minnesota. I'm sure he'd just stay at 81.

Well I think Watson will be here unless there is a shocker cut in the offseason at TE, so I think #84 will still be taken.

This is a question that has been weighing on my mind since we signed Moss last year.

Of course he can change #s - though since I got a #81 jersey about halfway through the season I hope that doesn't happen.

Unless he really wants 84 I don't see any reason to change from 81.
Tim Brown wore 81 in Oakland didn't he?, Porter wore 84.
